Review: Cloud 9 Magic Capsule Cleanser

Hi Everyone!

Today will be about a facial cleanser that I just finished using, the Cloud 9 Magic Capsule Cleanser. I have actually used another product from Cloud 9 before, the Cloud 9 Complex Whitening Cream, and I really liked that cream, so when I saw that they had made a cleanser, I got really excited and wanted to try it out. I've been using this cleanser for about 2 months now and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I bought it off of Amazon.com.

This cleanser is a non-irritating deep cleanser where it has oxygen foam, which gently and effectively removes skin impurities and excessive dead skin cells. Thereby, revealing a softer skin underneath.

It has 2 star ingredients: Rice Water and Goat Milk!

Rice Water, once popularly used by the court ladies of the Chosun dynasty, is the water used for washing rice. It contains a high amount of vitamin B and minerals that help to brighten skin. Therefore, Rice water helps to brighten dull skin tones and purify skin. It can also calm stressed, irritated skin.
Goat Milk extract is used for a hydrating cleansing experience. Goat Milk, contains fat globules that are 6 times smaller than those of cow milk, effectively penetrates skin and provides beneficial nutrients such as beta-casein protein without irritating the skin. Goat Milk has superior moisturizing properties that will leave your skin soft and comfortable, while also transforming malnourished skin into a healthy complexion.
This cleanser will create microfine oxygen bubbles once it has been massaged onto your skin and had contact with water, allowing it to wash away any pore-clogging impurities.

Please excuse the poor excuse of a sample I have of the cleanser on my hand, I was running out of the cleanser and my hands were kind of wet, so the cleanser started to bubble.
If you look closely, you'll see there are yellow granules in the cleanser. I'm not entirely sure that is it... I've tried to look it up to see what it was but I can never find any information on it. It could be gold pieces for the brightening effect. Or it could be the encapsulated goat milk... but it doesn't always like like little capsules, sometimes it just looks like flakes of gold, so I'm really not sure that the purpose of it is.

This cleanser is CLEAR color with yellow granules.

Packaging: It's in a bottle form with a pump at the top that you need to press down to have the cleanser come out. The packaging of the cleanser is sturdy and plastic. The look of the bottle is nice, I like how the "cloud" is clear so you can see into the bottle to see how much product you have left inside.

Size: 80 mL

Texture: the cleanser itself is a very viscous/thick feel. Once you have started massaging the cleanser onto your face with some water, it will become a smooth, soft foam.

Scent: It has a refreshing fruity/citrus-y smell to it. It's not overpoweringly strong, it's quite bearable.

Great for ALL skin types!

Here is how my skin looks when I wake up in the morning, BEFORE cleansing. As you can see, my skin is oily even from when I wake up from sleeping. My forehead is really shiny, so is the bridge of my nose.

How to Use: Apply an even layer of cleanser onto your dry face. When oxygen foam is created, massage skin in gentle rolling motions. Wash off thoroughly with running water.

How I Use It: I only use this cleanser in the MORNING because I just want to wash my face clean from the overnight oils produced and the skincare product residues from the night before.
I actually first wet my face alittle bit, not drenched in water, but a light layer of water on my face. Then I do a couple of pumps of the cleanser in my palm, about the size of a nickle coin. I rub the cleanser around in my hands to start creating the foam, then I spread the foam-cleanser all over my face and start massaging it into my skin to clean.
As you can see from the picture above, there is quite a foam on my face.
The foam is really soft and fluffy (of course it's fluffy...). It's also quite a dense foam.
Once I feel that I have massaged the cleanser into my skin enough that my skin is clean, I wash it off with warm water.

Here is how my skin looked AFTER I washed off the cleanser. As you can see,my forehead or face in general is no longer oily! I feel refreshed and clean. My skin does feel softer and look brighter. I'm not entirely sure if it did reduce the redness on my face from acne, maybe it did, and if it did, it was really minimal.

Overall, I really liked this cleanser! It is definitely a light cleanser, which is great for people with sensitive skin. I like that it cleans my skin without stripping it dry, so when I'm done washing my skin, my skin doesn't have that dry, stretched out feel to it.
The mechanism of the pump itself is really simple and easy to use, so that's also a plus.
I would definitely re-purchase this cleanser in the future!

Rate (out of 5 stars): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I really like this cleanser and I would definitely recommend everyone try it out! The bubbling of the foam is also really fun and unique. It's a great cleanser that does what it says it will do and gets the job done on providing a nice clean skin.
