Review: Heimish All Clean Green Foam Cleanser

Hi Everyone!

Today I will be reviewing the Heimish All Clean Green Foam Cleanser. I bought mine from iHerb, but there are many other places you can get it as well.
I decided to get it because I like to use a foam cleanser in the morning to wash off my previous night's skincare. Foam cleansers are great for oily skin people because the foam can really get into your pores and help clean them out. At the time I was running out of my old morning cleanser and decided to give this one a try when I was buying other stuff from iHerb.

This is a LOW pH, gentle everyday cleanser. Your skin needs to maintain a slightly acidic pH balance (around 5.5) in order to function at its best. This cleanser from Heimish is a cleansing gel that keeps skin's optimal pH balance while effectively removing impurities from the skin. Every ingredient used in this paraben-free cleanser has safe EWG rating of 1 or 2.
Included in the ingredients are Centella Asiatica and Witch Hazel which are widely known for their skin-healing and soothing properties.

This cleanser is great for all skin types, especially for people with sensitive skin.

General Points:
  • pH 5.5 (+ 0.5) Balancing Facial Cleanser: It's a subacid purifying foam cleanser that balances the pH to ensure that skin is healthy. This product contains excellent skin-friendly amino acid-type cleansing compounds that mildly work on and cleanse the skin.
  • Mild Clean Effect, Low Acid for Sensitive Skin
  • Subacid Cleansing for Healthy Skin
  • "Minimum Formula" that contains only the necessary minimum compounds. It contains Asiatic pennywort extract and witch hazel, which excellently soothe and moisturize skin. It also helps skin fatigued from an external environment recover its condition. This product contains minimum necessary compounds, which help maintain the pH balance of healthy skin.
  • Moisturizing Cleanser: Keeps skin moist even after washing the face. As a transparent gel type cleanser, it can be worked into a soft, dense, and rich lather for milder rolling on and cleansing of skin. It leaves skin moist even after washing the face.
Size: 150 g

pH Level: 5.5 + 0.5

Type of Cleanser: Gel cleanser that turns into foam.

Color: Kind of clear, but slightly opaque.

Fragrance: Smells very herbal-y and green tea-like. It's a strong smell when using, so be aware when using. Some people may not like the herbal-y smell of this cleanser, but I actually quite like the smell.

Texture: It's really thick and gel-like.

Packaging: It's in a plastic-rubber tubing.

Full Ingredients ListWater, potassium laureth phosphate, glycerin, lauryl hydroxysulatine, acrylates/c10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, quillaja saponaria bark extract, centella asiatica extract, hamemlis virginiana (witch hazel) water, potassium cocoyl glutamate, citric acid, coco-glucoside, sodium chloride, caprylyl glycol, glyceryl caprylate, tromethamine, sosodium cocoyl glutamate, sodium cocoyl isethionate, 1,2-hexanediol, disodium edta.

How To Use:
Mix a small amount with water to work up luxurious lather. Gently massage onto wet skin using circular motions. After thoroughly cleansing your face, rinse with lukewarm water. Use morning and night.

How I Use It:
I use this cleanser only in the morning to cleanse my face. I get about the size of a dime to a nickel on 1 hand and use the other hand to wet my face. Then I gently dot my face with the cleanser and massage it in. I massage the cleanser into my skin for at least 1 minute. I like to work up a thick foam and really get every nook and cranny. Once I finished cleansing, I use warm water to wash off the foam.

Below are trials of how well this cleanser is at for washing off makeup.

You can see how thick the cleanser it, it doesn't even budge when I have it on my hand.
3. Estee Lauder Estee Edit The Edgiest Up & Out Double Mascara

It doesn't create that much of a foam in my opinion. What little foam there is, it's really dense and thick feeling, but it's not like a LOT of foam. You can see it was having a hard time washing off my liquid eyeliner from Innisfree.

This is Trial 2 of using this cleanser to help take off makeup.
Again, I am testing this cleanser and seeing how well it is at cleansing.
4. Estee Lauder Estee Edit The Edgiest Up & Out Double Mascara

Again, there isn't much of a foam that's being created from using this cleanser. You can still see quite a bit of makeup on my hand.

I don't know if you can see, but I can actually see a faint line and black spackling of where the liquid black eyeliner was at and it shows that that cleanser just isn't that great at washing off all the makeup, especially when it comes to liquid eyeliner (this happened in the first trial).

Overall, this is a nice cleanser to use only in the morning when you just need to cleanse your skin from the skincare products the night before.
I definitely wouldn't use this cleanser as a make-up remover. It does NOT do a good job at removing all the makeup on the back of my hand. It mainly just washed off the outer layer of dirt on my skin. I definitely don't feel that squeeky clean feeling (which I actually hate) and does leave my skin feeling moisturized after using.
This cleanser could be used at night for the 2nd step of double cleansing, AKA using this cleanser after oil cleansing.
The smell of this cleanser is strong and has a strong herbal smell, however, I like this smell so it isn't a big deal to me. If you are sensitive to smells or don't like products that have a herbal smell then to would be best to steer clear of this cleanser.
It doesn't create much of a lather, definitely NOT to the amount that Heimish seems to give the impression of. It's really just a dense layer of foam that isn't really thick (you can see in the pictures above).

Rate (out of 5 stars): ⭐⭐⭐
It's not an amazing cleanser, but it still gets the job done. I would recommend this cleanser for anyone with sensitive skin who don't mind the smell of herbs. I don't like that there isn't much of a lather but it isn't a deal-breaker for me.
