Review: Secret Key SYN-AKE Anti-Wrinkle & Whitening Cream

Hi Everyone!

I'm currently in Taiwan visiting family for about 6 weeks, so if my posts are a little more irregular that's the reason why.
Today I will be talking about the Secret Key SYN-AKE Anti-Wrinkle & Whitening Cream.
I bought this cream from Yesstyle.com and had been eyeing it for a really long time before I finally took the plunge and got it. I was really drawn to it because it's suppose to be anti-aging and can help whiten the skin, but you know products don't always do what they say they can, so I was really curious about it.

It is an enriched cream with a potent combination of Syn-Ake (I have no idea what that is...) peptides that stimulate cells to promote cell renewal and repair. This cream also helps to brighten and hydrate skin with arbutin and adenosine, plus shea butter, panthenol and aloe vera. The result is firmer, younger, and more radiant-looking skin with less visible fine lines and improved elasticity.

Includes the highest percentage of recommended SYN-AKE (peptide) from Pentapham, 4%.

I. Whitening & Wrinkle Improvement: KFDA (kind of like the FDA in the USA) approved substances, arbutin and adenosine, are included in the product for treatment of healthy and vivacious skin.
II. Abundant Nutrient Provision: SYN-AKE Cream provides abundant nutrient to skin and helps with skin elasticity improvement for more flexible skin.
III. Moisturized skin of excellent hydration preservation: Shea butter, panthenol, and aloe vera, excellent in moisture preservation, provides moisture by softly wrapping the surface of dry and crisp skin and maintains hydrated and healthy skin.

What is SYN-AKE?
A peptide of similar structure to SNAKE POISON (OMG!!!), SYN-AKE is a substance developed by Pentapham, a Swiss international cosmetic ingredient research company. It's a revolutionary substance as a "new partial applicator for wrinkles that form when making expressions.: Secret Key Anti-Wrinkle & Whitening Cream is a functional cosmetic that provides more than a temporary lifting, a product ultimately helping with reducing skin aging by treating both fine and deep wrinkles.

Key Ingredients:
- SYN-AKE (peptide)
- Cavier Extract
- Arbutin
- Shea Butter
- Adenosine
- Vitamin E

Here's a swatch of what the cream looks like. It's like a light pink-ish color, also pale pink. It's not thick in texture at all and glides on really smoothly. It's not exactly runny either.

Size:50 g / 1.76 mL

Color: Pale, light pink

Texture: Almost gel-like in texture. Glides on really smoothly and doesn't leave an oily feeling.

Packaging: Comes in a plastic tub.

Accessories: Came with a plastic applicator.

Fragrance: Honestly, I don't think there's really a fragrance with this cream and if there is it's really light.

Full Ingredients List: Water, butylene glycol, cetyl ethylhexanoate, butylene glycol dicaprylate/dicaprate, arbutin, cetearyl olivate, cetearyl alcohol, sorbitan olivate, camellia sinensis seed oil, cyclopentasiloxane, cyclohexasiloxane, dipeptide diaminobutyroyl benzylamide diacetate, trehalose, soluble collagen, panthenol, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, stearic acid, dimethicone, beta-glucan, sodium hyaluronate, arginine, carbomer, xanthan gum, adenosine, disodium EDTA, methylparaben, propylparaben, phenoxyethanol, cl 19140, cl 15985, cl 16185, perfume

How To Use:
  1. Apply an adequate amount of product and spread evenly on area desired.
  2. Cover face with warm palms for deep absorption.
  3. Focusing on areas with deep wrinkles, massage by pulling on the area with hands.
How I Use It:
I used this cream both morning and night at the end of my skincare routine. I would just dab it on the usual 4 areas of my face, (forehead, cheeks, and chin) and then I would gently massage it in with my fingers.

BEFORE                                                 AFTER

Overall, I think this was just an okay-ish cream. I didn't notice a difference after I used it and I don't think I see a difference in any skin wrinkles or skin whitening, such as helping with hyper-pigmentation.

It is cream for just a regular moisturizing cream. The gel-like texture makes it really lightweight and heavy feeling at all. It doesn't leave an oily feel at all on the skin which is super important to me since I do have oily skin. It also glides on really well and gets absorbed really quickly.

Rate (out of 5 stars): ⭐⭐⭐
I don't really think there was anything great about this cream. I feel like there are other choices out there for about the same price or maybe even cheaper and they can be moisturizing and do other things as well. You can buy this if you want, but in my opinion it's not really worth it.
