Review: Heimish Marine Care Deep Moisture Nourishing Melting Cream

Hi Everyone!

This is the last Part 4 of my review for the Try Me; Review Me campaign from Stylekorean for their Heimish Marine Care skincare line.

This was the first time I've ever seen this product from Heimish, but I was excited to use it due to the cold, dry weather in my location. It was perfect timing because I had just finished my face cream and my skin has been feeling particularly dry.

Here's a look at the products that were given to me by Stylekorean.

The face cream is thick, white and creamy.

How To Use
  1. Put a small amount of the face cream on your fingertips or palms.
  2. Use your fingers to melt the cream until it becomes transparent.
  3. Tap and spread it all over your face and neck.
How I Use It:
I use this face cream both morning and night.
In the morning, I use this face cream on it's own after I've applied my serum. I dot my face with the cream and lightly massage it all around until it's absorbed.
At night, I like to mix this face cream with 2-3 drops of the Heimish Marine Care Face Oil (which I reviewed last week) and dab it all over my face and massage it around until it's fully absorbed.

This was the first day I was using the face cream. It's nightly moisturizing, but makes my skin feel tacky and slightly oily. It brightens my skin, but I feel like that could be the slight oiliness kicking in to make me look brighter.

You can see that after applying the face cream, it helped moisturize my skin very well. It does make my skin look slightly brighter, but like I said earlier, I feel like this is attributed to the oily residue the face cream leaves behind on my face.

I feel like the oiliness of the face cream is very obvious in this forehead picture. Look at the big shiny spot on the top of my forehead. It's definitely moisturizing, but leaves behind an oily and tacky feel.

3 weeks later.
This is comparing the first day before I started using the face cream to 3 weeks after using the face cream day and night.
It looks like my skin is much more moisturized and it has an oily glow.

You can see the difference in how moisturized my skin is with and without the face cream on. I can visibly see the change in my skin's cheek texture from having and not having the cream on. My skin does look shinier and brighter, but just like I mentioned above, I attribute this more to the oily. tacky residue of the face cream instead of an actually effect from the face cream.

Again, you can see the major difference between having and not having the face cream on. Look at how oily and shiny my forehead looks from having the cream on.

Overall, this is a thick cream that takes a lot of work to be spread and applied all over.

There's a light perfumey smell to the cream, it's pleasant and not heavy which is great.

It has a very luxurious, thick texture, but the downside is it takes a lot of work to spread all over my skin and be fully absorbed. I don't like that it takes so much work to get the cream all around, I feel like it's making me create more wrinkles around my face with the amount of effort I have to use.

This face cream is great for winter dry months. It's really moisturizing and I love that my skin doesn't feel tight after having it on. It's great to mix with the Heimish Marine Care Face Oil. They work great together but it definitely makes me even oilier than I already felt with having the face cream on. My glasses ALWAYS slip down my nose when I have this cream on, morning and night, which is extremely annoying for me.

I think people with dry skin will love this face cream, or overall love the whole Heimish Marine Care skincare line. However, anyone with oily skin, I recommend using it in the winter dry months. 100% if you used this face cream during the hotter months, you will be extremely oily by the end of the day and if you wore glasses, your glasses would for sure keep slipping down like mine do.

Rate (out of 5 stars): ⭐⭐⭐
While this is a nice face cream, I hate the amount of effort I need to use to get it all around my face. I feel like there's other face creams out there that are equally as moisturizing without making my feel oily or tacky and still give me even more amazing results.
