Review: Heimish Marine Care Eye Cream

Hi Everyone!

Today, I will be reviewing Part 3 of the Try Me; Review Me campaign from Stylekorean for the Heimish Marine Care skincare line.

I've been eyeing this eye cream for quite some time. I remember almost buying it last year but then I backed out cause I felt like I had too much skincare at home. But then, again, this year, I kept seeing this eye cream everywhere and I almost bought it from Costco.com when it was on sale and just when I was about to buy it, I find out I got chosen by Stylekorean to be a reviewer for this campaign!

Just my luck!!!! 🍀🍀🍀

Here's a look at the packaging of the products given to me by Stylekorean.

Here's a close-up look at the eye cream. It's a light green color and has a really thick consistency.

Size: 30 mL

Color: Light green mint

Fragrance: Has a really light smell, kind of reminds me of things you buy that are suppose to smell like the "sea".

Absorbency: I wouldn't say it absorbs quickly into the skin. It kind of leaves a moisture barrier on top of the skin around the eyes and as the night goes on it's slowly absorbed into the skin.

Texture: It's a really thick, creamy texture. It definitely takes quite a few taps to be absorbed and spread all over the eye area.

Packaging: Comes in a thick blue plastic tub with a white plastic cap.

Accessories: Comes with a eye roller.

Star Ingredients: Marine Water, Peptide, Plant Stem Cell Extract

How To Use:
Before applying cream in the morning and night, apply it evenly on the face, and gently pat to be absorbed into the skin. Use eye massager to care eye skin softly.

How I Use It:
I use this eye cream both morning and night near the end of my skincare routine.
I like to use my ring finger to light tap the cream all around my skin, however, I do occasionally use the eye roller if I have more time.
I like to just light swipe my fingertip into the eye cream and put it under my eyes and lightly tap it all around.

Here's the first day I used the eye cream.
Please excuse how red my eyes are and the dark circles underneath. I'm in my Pediatric Clinical Rotation and I was sleeping late and waking up early every day while wearing contact lenses for over 15 hours every day.
The eye cream is definitely moisturizing, but it's quite thick so it takes a bit of effort to get it absorbed all around the eyes.

Here's how I like to put the eye cream on. Once I've put it under my eyes, I use my ring finger to lightly tap it all around.

So this is comparing how the eye cream worked from the very first day before I used it to 3 weeks later.
I don't think I noticed a change in my wrinkles, but it has only been 3 weeks so many it needs more time, like months???
However, I do find this eye cream to be very moisturizing, and I think it might help lessen the dark circles under my eyes.

Overall, this is a nice, thick eye cream, however, it's definitely not my favorite one.

I feel like it's TOO thick. I hate that it takes quite a bit of effort to get it tapped all around my eyes which really annoys me cause I don't want to be causing more wrinkles.

Also, I know it's only been 3 weeks of me using this eye cream, but I don't really notice any difference with the wrinkles around my eyes. However, I do think it helps to lessen the dark circles I have underneath.

The thickness of the eye cream makes it great at keep the delicate skin around my eyes moisturized. It's great for the winter months and anyone with dry skin. Myself who has oily skin, I don't think I'd ever use it during the hot summer months cause I would feel too oily.

It doesn't really have a oily residue after using the cream, instead it just feels like there's this heavy barrier on top of my eyes.

Rate (out of 5 stars): ⭐⭐⭐⭐
This eye cream is nice but not my favorite. I've had better, but I do like that it's moisturizing and lessens the dark circles. I think it's better for people with dry skin or if you have oily skin during the winter dry months.
