Review: Yvesom Pearl Collagen Velvet Sheet Mask

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I've been absent for a few weeks. As I stated previously, I was in Taiwan visiting family for 6 weeks and things just became really hectic and with the time difference, it was hard for me to remember to write a post.

Today, I will be reviewing this sheet mask that I got from Blingdear.com. They gave me this sheet mask for free in return for my own honest review.

What is it?
This sheet mask from the brand Yvesom. It is enriched with pearl extract and collagen peptide to deeply moisturize and nourish your skin for plump, dewy, and bright skin with a fine glow.

Some Key Ingredients:
  • Nourishing & Anti-wrinkle: Pearl extract, Collagen peptide, Adenosine, Allantoin
  • Brightening & Even Skin Tone: Apple extract, Black cherry tree fruit extract, Lemon extract
  • Soothing & Calming: Centella asiatica extract, Chamomile flower extract
The sheet mask is a cotton material with I guess a slight velvet material feel... But it's not completely like the velvet clothing material. I don't really understand why they're calling it a velvet sheet mask??? Maybe it's suppose to make your skin feel velvet smooth? I'm not sure...
However, the material is soft and comfortable on the skin.

Size: 27 mL / 0.91 oz.

Color: Sheet mask is white. Essence inside is a creamy white color as well.

Texture: Essence is creamy and smooth. Sheet mask is soft.

Fragrance: There is a strong fragrance, kind of floral but kind of just a smell. It's not horrible, but if you're sensitive to smells then beware.

Packaging: Comes in a plastic packaging.

Here's a close-up of the material of the mask and the essence. As you can see, the material of the mask itself is thick, you can't even really see my fingers through it. It is soft and not harsh on the skin at all. The essence is white and creamy. It's not thick or heavy in texture.

How To Use
Take the sheet mask out of the packaging. Unfold it (there isn't another plastic wrapping on the sheet mask). Line the eye and mouth holes up with your own eyes and mouth (so that you can see and breath....).
Leave the sheet mask on for 15-20 minutes. Remove the mask and rub the excess essence around.

How I Use It
I like to use sheet masks at the end of my skincare routine at night. So once I have finished using my night cream, which is usually the last step in my skincare routine, I like to use a sheet mask.
I lay the sheet mask on my face for about 20 minutes. I like to leave it on for a long time. I usually leave the sheet mask on and go watch TV, or I will put lotion on my body if I haven't done so already.
Once the time as pasted, I take the mask off and rub around the essence. I like to squeeze out the excess essence from the packaging and put it on my face as if it was a sleeping mask and just go to bed like that. So it's like you have a really thick layer of essence all over.

Below are pictures of me trying out the sheet mask.

BEFORE
This is the end of my skincare routine, I have just finished applying my night cream and I am now about to put on the sheet mask.

DURING
The holes of the sheet mask don't really work for me. The mouth part was literally covering my WHOLE upper lip, it was really annoying. The eye holes, I had to feel touching it and moving it around, it kept getting into my eyes. The nose area was no issue.

AFTER
Left: I had just taken off the sheet mask, I haven't rubbed the essence around at all. You can see the white creamy whitecast.
Right: I rubbed the excess essence from the packaging on my face and then I went to bed this way.

NEXT MORNING
This is how my skin looked the next day. I haven't washed my skin or anything, so this is just the excess essence fully absorbed in. My skin looks brighter and plumper.

Overall, this was a nice sheet mask. I would definitely use it again and buy it.
I like that it brightened my skin tone all the while also plumping up my skin. I think you would need to use multiple sheet masks to actually see any kind of anti-wrinkle effects, however, I do like the plumping effects it has. It is definitely really moisturizing, but in a good way. I wasn't extra oily for this mask and it didn't cause me to break out.

The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the holes of the sheet mask. The weirdly shaped holes really bothered me when I had to leave the mask on for such an extended period of time.  I don't like when my sheet mask don't line up well with my face, and I hate when they get into my eyes and into my mouth.

Thank you to Blingdear for giving me this opportunity to try out this sheet mask. It's definitely worth buying to try if you can find it!

Rate (out of 5 stars):⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is a good sheet mask to try and I would recommend trying it out.
