Review: Heimish Marine Care Cream Toner

Long time no see!

I'm sorry I haven't been as present as I used to be. I've been so busy with PA school it's crazy. 

I'm actually in my clinical year, so every month I've been experiencing a different clinical rotation site. I started off in OBGYN, then Psychiatry, and I'm currently in Pediatrics before I finally get winter break.

However, I've come back because I was chosen as a review for Stylekorean's Try Me; Review Me campaign for Heimish Marine Care.

This is everything that they gave me!

I've always wanted to try this line from Heimish and I've actually had my eye on the Marine Care Eye Cream from Heimish for the past year and I actually almost bought it a week before I found out I was chosen as a reviewer!

It was originally covered in a piece of aluminum, once removed, it was a small opening for the toner to come out.

The toner has a milky-white color, kind of like really watered down milk with a watery texture.

Fragrance: None that I can detect

Absorbency: This toner absorbs really quickly into the skin, leaving behind no residue. My skin doesn't feel oily or tacky afterwards.

Texture: Has a watery texture

Packaging: Comes in a nice, hard, thick white plastic bottle with really cute blue underwater sea theme print.

Star Ingredients: Miracle Marine Water, Crithmum Maritmum Callus Culture Filtrate, and Spirulina Platensis extract

Full Ingredients List: Water, butylene glycol, glycerin, meadowfoam seed oil, niacinamide, pentylene glycol, Eclonia kava extract (brown algae), Hijiki extract, Japanese kelp extract, Undaria feathery extract (algae), Callus culture extract, seaweed crustum, 1 2-hexanediol, caprylyl glycol, polyglyceryl-10 laurate, propanediol, hydrogenated lecithin, polyglyceryl-10 oleate, polyglyceryl-3-methylglucose distearate, panthenol, diphenyldimethicone, triethylhexanoin, Sodium Acrylate-30, Acrylate-30 , tocopherol, xanthan gum, flavor.

How To Use:

1. Use a suitable amount of the product during the first stage after cleansing.
2. Gently apply the product on your skin.
3. Tap skin lightly for better absorption.

Tip from Heimish: Put more than a usual amount on a cotton pad to fully soak, then put on dry sensitive areas, remove after 3-5 mins, tap to absorb it for instant soothing and moisturizing.

How I Use It:

I use this toner morning and after as my first skincare product once I've finished washing my face. 

I like to do at least 5 drops/quarter-sized amount of toner in my palm and I dab it all over my face and then I do another quarter-size amount for my neck and upper chest.

Sometimes, if my skin is feel particularly dry, I like to do it twice on my face.

I tap the toner into my skin until it's fully absorbed in about 30 seconds, then I continue with the rest of my skincare routine.

This is me using the toner for the first time after washing my face. It's winter time now, so my skin feels a lot more tight and dry even though I typically have oily skin.

After applying the toner on for 1 layer, I noticeably see how my skin doesn't feel as tight anymore and it's nicely moisturized. Maybe there's a little less dullness to my skin, but that could just be due to it not being as dry anymore and finally having some moisture in it.

You can see in the Before shots that my skin is dry and tight. I can see the "scaling" of my dry skin, however, once I've applied the toner, the "scaling" has disappeared and my skin is nicely moisturized. My skin feels smooth, moisturized, and there is a nice brightness to my skin, but again that could just be due to it no longer being dry anymore.

The toner absorbs quickly and doesn't leave any residue. You can see I don't look oily and my skin doesn't feel tacky.

Overall, I love this toner!

It's so nicely moisturizing and makes my skin feel great!

After only 1 application of the toner, my skin feels hydrated, looks brighter, and feels healthier. I don't have a sticky or tacky feeling after it's absorbed and it doesn't make my skin feel oily whatsoever.

I truly believe this toner would be great for all skin types and can be used for any season.

I love that it doesn't have a fragrance and it's lightweight while still being moisturizing and absorbing so quickly while not breaking me out. Whenever I feel like I need a little boost in light moisturization, I like to do an extra layer of toner which makes this toner great because it's so lightweight on the skin.

I also think it's great that it gives me skin a nice natural brightness to it, making me feel like I have an inner glow.

I love this toner and I think it would be a great fit for everyone to use. It truly does moisturize your skin while giving the added benefits of nutrition and brightness.
