Review: Jigott Whitening UV Sun Block SPF 50+ PA+++

Hi Everyone!
As it is summer time, I religiously apply sunscreen every day on any part of my skin that is open to sunlight. I am super scared of getting tan, cause lets face it, I'm already naturally tanned enough. I usually even wear a light jacket, leave me hair down, wear light/thin long pants, and sometimes even a hat to try and cover myself up as much as possible. Therefore, it is really important for me to be on the hunt for a good sunscreen... and I think I might have found a holy grail!!!

Jigott Whitening UV Sun Block SPF 50+ PA+++

I found this on Yesstyle.com one way when I was browsing through their website. It has great reviews, the price as right, gave lots of volume, and specifically said NO WHITECAST. I immediately put it in my shopping cart.
I have been testing it out for almost a month now and I can tell you that I honestly love this sunscreen! I love it so much that I have already bought 2 EXTRA spares!

GOOD NEWS! Yesstyle.com is currently have a major beauty sale and this sunscreen happens to be 60% OFF!!!! Bring it's price from $17.90 to $7.16.
Also, if you have any higher membership, such as silver or gold, then you can get additionally discount, making the sunscreen EVEN CHEAPER!!!!

It is advertised to be:
"Water-resistant sun block keeps skin moisturized while evening out skin tone and protecting it against harmful UV rays. Lightweight formula is non-sticky and spread smoothly without a white cast.
It contains whitening ingredients, SPF 50+ can prevent UV damage, can provide moisture and nutrition. Keep the skin moist and moist, prevent dry and cover the smallpox. Texture moist and not greasy is not sticky, can brighten the skin, to reach the perfect effect of bare makeup."

~~~sidenote: I honestly have no idea what they mean by "smallpox"... I think they were going for acne or pimples, but I can't be sure.
I like how on the bottle it advertises "Whitening, UV Protection, Wrinkle Free".
I don't know if it really is "Wrinkle Free" and being any sort of anti-aging, but I am hopeful that it is working! I am always willing to add as much anti-aging products to my routine as possible.
It is also UVA/UVB skin protection!
There is also a side note on the bottle that says: "Sun block with very strong water resistance certified by KFDA".
So good news!! It's waterproof! And being certified by KFDA is basically just like being certified by the FDA, but in Korea instead cause this is a Korean skincare product.
Contains Arbutin which is derived from the leaves of bearberry/cranberry/mulberry/blueberry shrubs, it can have melanin-inhibiting properties. Arbutin and other plant extracts are considered safe alternatives to commonly used pigmenting agents to make the skin fairer.
Adenosine is added in for face anti-wrinkles. Adenosine penetrates deeply into the skin to help prevent wrinkles and reduce UVB sun damage. It is particularly effective  for crow's feet and forehead frown lines.
Full Ingredients List: I'm sorry, I wasn't able to find the full ingredient's list online. On the boxing it was in Korean so I wasn't able to translate it.
Great for ALL skin types!!!
This sunscreen is really creamy in texture! It is definitely moisturizing, but in a good way! It doesn't cause my skin to get greasy and doesn't cause an oily build up later on in the day. Also, it doesn't cause my skin to break out. As you can see from the swatch on my hand, there was no whitecast on my skin after I had spread the sunscreen all over.
             BEFORE                                             DURING                                             AFTER
How to Use:
 Use toner, lotion, essence, apply the sunscreen evenly.
How I Use It:
I use this sunscreen in the morning after I have finished my skincare routine, AKA it is the really last step in my skincare routine. I like to dot my face with the sunscreen in 4-5 areas: my forehead, both cheeks, my chin, and sometimes I do my nose. I don't always dot my nose because sometimes I get enough on my cheeks that I can just spread it over to my nose. Once I've finished dotting my face, I gently massage the sunscreen into my skin.
As you can see from the AFTER picture, there is absolutely NOT whitecast! I do feel like my skin does look alittle brighter. It doesn't cause you skin to whitening instead, it can help prevent skin darkening, therefore, making it "whitening".
Overall, I REALLY like this sunscreen! I think it's great for ALL season! It's moisturizing enough that it can be used during the dry winter season, and matte enough and non-greasy or oily that it can be used during the hot summer months.
I absolutely love that there is NO WHITECAST! It blends into my skin really well and is absorbed quickly.
I also like the added benefits of the anti-aging! Like I said earlier, I am always willing to use more anti-aging products.
It's great that it is SPF 50+ PA+++, therefore, it has higher coverage and more protection for your skin.
Rate (out of 5 stars): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I highly highly HIGHLY recommend this sunscreen for everyone to try! I absolutely love it! It is totally worth the price that I bought it at, it gives a LOT, and is just great overall! I would recommend anyone and everyone to give it a try!
  2. Hi it can be used this also for a day or night cream?
    1. This is a sunscreen so I wouldn't use it as a night cream. I guess you could use it as your day cream since it is moisturizing and it has SPF which is a plus.
    2. Can children use this?? At the back it said “children combined “ what it actually mean??
    3. I do think this sunscreen can be used for children. It doesn't have anything in it that would make me question whether or not it can be used on children.
  3. Do you wear makeup over this sunscreen and if so does it work well? I have used sunscreens that make my makeup cakey and patchy. Thanks
    1. Yes I do! It works well! It's a great primer and helps keep the makeup on. I never notice any cakey-ness or patchy looks whenever I had this sunscreen underneath.
  4. From which age can we apply this cream?
    1. I think the general rule is, at all ages it's best to apply sunscreen. I don't believe there should be an age limit or requirement when it comes to protecting your skin.
      If you're worried about using this sunscreen for children, I believe this sunscreen should be safe for children's use.
