Review: Tosowoong Enzyme Powder Wash

Hi Everyone!
I will be reviewing the Tosowoong Enzyme Powder Wash. I bought this quite a while ago, back when Memebox.com used to sell products on their website.
I used it more as a daily light exfoliation on my face at night during my shower time. Due to having oily skin, I find that I needed to do a light exfoliation every night, in order to wash off the dirt and impurities from my skin that had built-up throughout the day. Before, when I didn't do a daily exfoliation, I noticed that I had more acne all around my face, especially around my nose and forehead areas.
However, I do not recommend anyone with dry skin to do a daily light exfoliation like I do. Maybe instead you could do about every 2-3 days.

This enzyme powder is a powerful powder-to-foaming cleanser that washes away deep-seated dirt and impurities, revealing clearer, more moisturized skin. Enriched with Vitamin E, it also leaves the skin feeling soft and fresh with a flawless finish.
Uses papain enzyme to wash away build-up, such as sebum and dead skin cells.
It has a pH of 5.5, which is similar to the pH of your skin, therefore, it won't strip your skin too much and dry it out, making this a great product for people who have dry or sensitive skin.

Color: This is a WHITE powder

Texture: it has a bead-y feel to is, not exactly powder-y in my opinion.

Fragrance: there isn't really a fragrance that I notice whenever I use this powder. However, in the ingredients, it does say it uses "perfume", so maybe there is a light smell, but it's so light that I don't even notice it.

Beneficial Ingredients: Corn Starch, Papain

Free from: Formaldehyde, SLS, PEG, Coal Tar, Formaldehyde-releasers, MIT, Dye, Talc, Mineral Oil, Alcohol, Parabens, TEA, Triclosan, Phthalates, Propylene Glycol, Silicones

Packaging: It's in a plastic bottle. The cap flips open and there's an opening that allows the powder to flow out. Due to it's packaging, it's advertised was being TSA friendly, meaning it is travel friendly.

Size: 70 g

Great for ALL skin types!

Here is how the opening of the cap looks like. As you can see, there is an opening inside the cap that allows for the powder to come out.

Here is a swatch of what the powder looks like. It's really more of a bead-y feel and look in my opinion. Not really a powder. When I think of powder, I think of really fine powder, airy, light. This is definitely not any of that.

How to Use: Shake a nickel-sized amount of powder onto your clean hands. Splash with water and rub to create a lather. Gently massage over skin for 2-3 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Can be used twice a day, morning and night.
How I Use It: I use this enzyme powder every night in the shower. I usually powder a substantial around in my palm, about a quarter size. I dab the powder all over my face, using my pointer finger. I also use this on my neck!!! Then I just rub it into my skin, massaging it all over to clean out my pores and get all those impurities out. Once I has create a light lather, I take my face brush and I use that all over my face, it will help create even more of a foam/lather. Once I've finished with the face brush, then I wash off my face.

Here, I am trying to lather up the powder. In all honesty, this enzyme powder doesn't really foam up as much as they are trying to advertise. It actually takes quite a bit MORE product in order to get an sort of foam going. What I have on my hand above in the swatch actually wasn't enough to get the lathered picture, so I actually added MORE powder to my hand to even get some sort of foaming going on in the picture.
However, the beads do dissolve eventually, but you have to put some work into it and work the powder into your skin so that not only it's is washing out dirt and sebum, but it's also doing a light exfoliation. Once you start working it in, you will feel the powder become alittle more mush-y and it will be easier to use then.

                                       BEFORE                                                     AFTER

Here is how my hand looked before and after. In the before, my hand had a light seen over it, making it look kind of shiny (look around the knuckle area). There is a weird distinctive white line at my wrist area too.
In the After, you can see that all of that is gone! It was washed away by the powder. The skin of my hand also looks smoother, and although you can't tell, but it also fees softer due to the light exfoliation.

Overall, I did like using this enzyme powder on my face. It didn't cause me to breakout and it did it's job on cleaning my face.
While there wasn't much of a foam, it was still about to lightly exfoliate my skin every night which I find is the more important task at hand.
A definite con for me though was that I needed to use a LOT of product in order to get a really good cleaning. But this powder did last me for quite a while, almost 3 months!
This is definitely NOT one of those "a little goes a long way" kind of products.

Rate (out of 5 stars): ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I would recommend this product for everyone to try! I find that it is great at cleaning my skin and I like the overall result or having smooth, soft skin. I would definitely recommend a friend to buy this enzyme powder. What's even better is that it's so cheap! So for such a great price and it can last for almost 3 months, I think that makes it worth it.
