Review: Sunroi Vit. B5 Multi Suncream SPF50+ PA++++

Hi Everyone!

Today, I will be reviewing a sunscreen that I bought from 08Liter as part of their TRY NOW campaign at a discounted price of $3.99 in return for my own honest review.

In the past 5 years that I've really been into Korean skincare, I've never heard of this brand Sunroi. However, this is a bio-medical company that does competent research and development to product biomedical cosmetics and skincare. They are also a global distributor of micro-needle products.
On 08Liter, I often see them doing TRY NOW or TRY FREE campaigns for Sunroi, but this sunscreen was something that I was willing to pay to try since I'm really big on sunscreen.

This is a triple functioning UV shield sunscreen to protect the skin from UVA and UVB rays by forming a skin barrier.
A low-stimulation UV shield made of the highest-grade raw materials of the US EWG GREEN grade that prevents the aging of the skin when exposed to the external environment for a long time.
Contains panthenol (vitamin B5) which is excellent for fighting inflammation.

Triple Functions: Whitening, Wrinkle Improvement, and UV Blocking.

The sunscreen comes in a white box, nothing special.

Size: 50 mL

Color: White

White-Cast: NONE

Texture: You MUST shake the tube before you open. If you DON'T shake the tube, the sunscreen is sort of watery. If you DO shake the tube, the sunscreen comes out more creamy and thicker. The sunscreen has a mattifying effect on the skin.

Fragrance: There's a herbal medicinal scent to this sunscreen. It also kind of reminds me of toothpaste for some reason. It's not like a minty fresh toothpaste smell, just reminds me of some sort of herbal toothpaste.

Absorbency: The sunscreen absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn't leave any kind of residue. Leaves a matte finish on the skin.

Packaging: Comes in a white rubbery plastic tube.

Star Ingredient: Panthenol (vitamin B5)

Full Ingredients List: Sorry, I wasn't able to find the ingredients list online. On the tube does have the list, but I can't read it since it's in Korean.

How To Use:
Spread it evenly on the skin exposed to ultraviolet rays in the last stage of skincare. If you apply it every 4-5 hours during outdoor activities, it will be very effective in blocking UV.

How I Use It:
I use this sunscreen in the morning when I know I'm going to be leaving the house. I like to squeeze little by little on my fingertip and dot my face AND neck with it, then I gently massage it into my skin.

This is how the sunscreen looks if you DON'T shake the tube. It comes out more runny an watery.
This is how the sunscreen looks if you DO shake the tube. It comes out more thick and creamy.

This is the first time I used the sunscreen. I didn't shake the tube, so the sunscreen was quite runny and watery on my skin. There is NO white-cast on the skin and my skin has a matte finish from the sunscreen.

This time I DID shake the tube so the sunscreen was much more thick and creamy on the skin. There's no white-cast on the skin and leaves a matte finish on the skin. As you can see, I also apply the sunscreen onto my neck.

As you can see from the up close picture of my cheek, there's clearly NO white-cast whatsoever from this suncreen. It does leave a matte finish on the skin, however, you can't really tell in my opinion.

Overall, I liked this sunscreen. It was definitely worth the $3.99 to try out.

I really like that it leaves a matte finish and doesn't make me feel oily or produce excess oils. Since I have oily skin, it's important to me to have products on my skin that don't make me feel oily or make me produce excess oils since it'll end up causing me to breakout.
This is a particularly moisturizing sunscreen, so people with dry skin might not like this sunscreen as much.

Shout out to this sunscreen NOT having any sort of white-cast!!!
Since my skin is a little more tan, a white-cast is always super obvious on my skin. This sunscreen not having any is great and super important.

While I'm not a huge fan of the smell of this sunscreen, it's nothing I can't get over. This sunscreen absorbs quickly into the skin and the smell goes away super fast, so it's not a big deal to me.

SIDE STORY: I went to Chicago last week for an interview and applied this sunscreen in the morning before I left for my flight. I had this sunscreen on ALL DAY while walking all over Chicago outside. I literally mean I WALKED everywhere when I was in Chicago. I was trying to save money and not take an Uber or taxi, and walking was my way of "exercising" to give myself an excusable okay to eat all the junk food I ate while I was there.
Anyways, the point is, I had this sunscreen on all day and at night when I went to shower, I could actually still FEEL the sunscreen on my face! When I was rinsing my face with water, I could still feel that feeling you get when you have sunscreen on your skin.
This sunscreen can stay on your skin for over 12 hours! I think that's really impressive.

Rate (out of 5 stars): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I liked this sunscreen and I would recommend anyone to try it out. I was only able to find it on Amazon.com, the price for 1 tube is a bit expensive in my opinion, so if you don't want to pay almost $30 for 1 sunscreen then this isn't the one for you. Since I have oily skin, I like that this is a mattifying sunscreen that doesn't cause me to produce excess oils and doesn't make me feel oily. Some might not like the herbal medicinal smell of this sunscreen, I personally am fine with it, but be warned there is a fragrance.
