Review: Abib Mild Acidic pH Sheet Mask Heartleaf Fit

Today, I'm posting another review of the last mask from the set of Mild Acidic pH Sheet Masks I received from Skin Library. I was sent a total of 6 sheet masks, 3 were the Mild Acidic pH Sheet Masks and 3 were the Gummy Sheet Mask Stickers.

The main purpose of Abib's Mild Acidic pH Sheet Mask line is to help balance the your skin's natural pH to make sure that there isn't any irritation to the skin. Each of these sheet mask contain 30 mL of essence.

This is the first time I've ever heard of the ingredient - heartleft.

The Heartleaf fit sheet mask is made for people who have sensitive skin and want soothing and moisturizing properties. It's composed of 88% Houttuynia Cordata Extract sourced from Moutain Jiri in Korea.

Quercetin in heartleaf helps control sebum and dead skin cells, to keep your skin clean and clear.

Star Ingredients:

🌟Houttuynia Cordata Extract - Used to soothe inflammation and exfoliate skin

🌟Licorice Extract - Skin-soothing ingredient which calms and soothes inflammation in the skin. Also brightens the skin to combat uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentation

Here are close-ups of the sheet mask. You can see the mask is quite thin and it's also quite see-through. The material of the sheet mask is made up of bamboo fabric and albumin (egg white). Once the sheet mask is applied to skin, the sheet starts to tighten and improve the elasticity of your skin while making the skin absorb the effective ingredients of essence. Personally, I don't notice any kind of tightening features from the sheet mask whenever it's on my face.

Main Purpose: Soothing and Moisturizing

Color: Clear-white sheet mask, essence is clear colored

Fragrance: I don't notice any fragrance coming from this sheet mask

Texture: The sheet mask is thin, soft, and stretchy. The essence is runny.

Absorbency: The essence from this sheet mask absorbs really quickly into my skin. Doesn't leave any kind of residue or oiliness.

Material: ALBAM = Albumin + Bamboo

Fit: The holes of this sheet mask fit my face pretty well. Since it is a stretchy material, it's easier to stretch the mask to fit my eyes and mouth.

How To Use:

Place Sheet mask evenly over the face, carefully around eyes and nose, and leave for 10-20 minutes. After 10-20 minutes, remove mask and gently pat skin to promote absorption of the remaining essence into your skin.

How I Use It:

I use this sheet mask at the end of my skincare routine at night after I've finished taking a shower. I place the mask on my face after I've applied my face cream and leave it on for 25 minutes (you can just use a time period between 10-20 minutes). After enough time has passed, I removed the sheet mask and squeezed the excess essence from the pouch and apply it all over my face. I let the excess essence absorb overnight on my skin.

From Top to Bottom: Here are a series of photos from before I applied the sheet mask, all the way to after I've removed the mask and applied the excess essence all over.

The sheet mask was lightly moisturizing, it had a soothing and refreshing feeling when it was on, I liked it because it felt like it was helping to reduce my inflammation and calm my skin. I didn't notice any tightening from the mask. The was no allergic reaction and I think there was minor reduction in redness and inflammation.

From Top to Bottom: Here's a close up of my left cheek. I think there was minor reduction of redness and inflammation after using this sheet mask. Again, it was only lightly moisturizing and not oily at all.

From Top to Bottom: Here's a close up of my right cheek. There wasn't much inflammation or redness on this cheek to begin with so there really isn't much change here. The main thing is that there's a light layer of moisture added from the sheet mask.

Here's a close-up of my forehead from using the sheet mask. Again, there isn't much change seen here after using the mask, only thing is the added layer of light moisture.

Overall, I like this sheet mask! It does seem effective in soothing my skin's redness and inflammation while providing a light layer of moisture.

It's a nicely thin sheet mask that is stretchy, enabling it to be stretched to make the holes fit my eyes and mouth.

Since it is mildly acidic pH, this sheet mask is really gentle on the skin, making it great for anyone, especially people who are sensitive skinned. I didn't have any allergic reactions and I also didn't develop any irritation rashes from the material of the mask.

There was no tingling or tightening from the sheet mask. I don't think Abib should advertise about the tightening effect of the sheet mask to help with skin elasticity. I really never notice any kind of tightening effects from any of the Mild Acidic pH Sheet Masks that I've used. It seems sort of like false advertisement and promises when it obviously doesn't have these features.

I didn't notice soothing, slightly cooling, and refreshing feeling when I had the mask on. It felt really nice, definitely helping to reduce the minor redness and inflammation I had on my face.

I love that it has sebum control and acne-fighting properties!

I like this sheet mask and I would recommend anyone give it a try! It's great for all skin types, especially for anyone who has sensitive skin.
