Review: Innisfree Powerproof Pen Liner

Hi Everyone!
Today we have a make-up review!
As I've said in the past, whenever I do use make-up, I tend to be very minimal. I usually only use eyeliner and mascara, that's it. I rarely use concealer, foundation, eyeshadow, or lipstick. It's not that I don't have any of these products or don't know how to use them, it's more that I just want to have a hassle-free make-up routine, something that is fast.

I have been using this Innisfree Powerproof Pen Liner for a few months now. It's is a pen eyeliner, which is actually what I prefer to use. I'm not a big fan of the liquid eyeliners that come from a pot. I do like some gel eyeliners though!

I found this eyeliner on Yesstyle.com and it was highly popular and on sale, so it was an easy buy for me.

 This eyeliner has an Elastic brush tip, supposedly to make it easier for beginners to make sharp lines along the eyes. The brush is very flexible and NOT hard at all. It doesn't tug or hard to use when I am drawing my eyeliner on. I have sensitive eyes, so it's important for me to find an eyeliner who's brush is painful for my to glide along my eyelid.
It does have a really rich black color, I like how this eyeliner is really pigmented with color. It does take quite a few tries to get the ink out of the liner, which is really annoying. Sometimes I find that I have to go over the same area multiple times just to get a clear, dark, black line. However, whenever the ink is working well, as I said before, the black color is very pigmented.
~~~Side note: there is also a BROWN color of this eyeliner. The one I am using is BLACK.
This eyeliner is suppose to be perfect for water/oil-proof, so that it keeps the eye makeup looking beautiful all day long without smudging from water or oil.
THIS IS A LIE!!! FALSE!!!
As you can see from my pictures, this eyeliner smudges like no other! It's crazy how much it smudges from oils! It even starts to speckle-off at some areas.
I hadn't even been wearing the eyeliner on my eyes for that long, maybe about 4-5 hours when it started to smudge!
Whenever I'm trying to find a good eyeliner, it needs to be able to last ALL DAY, at least 7-8 hours. This eyeliner did NOT hold up.
Another thing Innisfree claims for this eyeliner is that it is easily cleanse-able, without leaving any pigmentation and residue. While I find that it doesn't leave any pigmentation on my eyes, it is however quite hard to wash off! I always use an oil cleanser and then a water cleanser to wash off my make-up and sometimes even those 2 aren't enough to wash it off. It always takes me multiple tries, at least 2-3 times, with the oil cleanser to wash this eyeliner off, even when I do swatches on my hands.
In the end, I started to first take this eyeliner off with some thick, creamy lotion with a Q-tip first, then I would go back in with the oil cleanser to wash the rest off.
Overall, I wouldn't buy this eyeliner again. I don't think it's worth the money at all. I also feel like I have spent less money on cheaper eyeliner that worked better than this one. I hate that it smudges so badly and speckles-off at some areas. I hate that it takes forever for the ink to come out of the pen, even when I place the eyeliner upside-down. I constantly have to keep shaking the eyeliner or making swatches to try and make the ink come out. I also don't like how hard it is to wash off! I don't like having to rub my eyes so often to wash off eyeliner.
However, I did like that it was a pigmented black color, when the ink did work. I also really appreciate that the brush tip didn't pull/tug on my eyelid whenever I used it.
Rate (out of 5 stars):
I wouldn't recommend this eyeliner for anyone to use. It's not worth it.
