Review: COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid

Sorry, I didn't post anything last weekend. It was Thanksgiving weekend and my sisters came home for dinner and I spent Friday and Saturday Black Friday shopping, spending WAYYYY too much money.

As you might already know, I'm a big fan of COSRX products. They're effective and inexpensive, making them perfect products to buy and use over and over.

I had been eyeing this particular product for a few years before I took the plunge and bought it. I've heard great things about it, how it's great for not only blackheads but also regular acne as well.
I was hoping that it would help with the little white bumps I have on my forehead. They're not really pimples or whiteheads and they're not popable. They're super annoying and really hard to get rid of.
When I bought this Power Liquid, the main purpose was to see if it could help with those. Although, I do have blackheads on my nose, which are super annoying as well.

This product is typically used as an essence and acne treatment. This liquid essence contained Betaine Salicylate & BHA to care for dead skin cells, sebum and blackheads. The low-irritation, low pH formula is free of artificial coloring and artificial fragrance and helps achieve the pH balance of the skin.

BHA is a chemical exfoliant that penetrates deeply into the pores and helps clear clogged pores and gently exfoliates dead skin cells, giving the skin its natural glow. It's a great ingredients that helps to prevent and fight acne and blackheads.

How To Use:
After cleansing, soak the essence with a cotton pad and wipe along the skin. When used in the morning, make sure to apply sunscreen!

How I Use It:
I used this essence both morning and night after I have cleansed and applied my toner. I do NOT use a cotton pad, I just pump it into the palm of my hand and tap it into my skin.

Below, I have a series of photos showing my using this essence over a period of time. I wanted to see how much of a difference it is able to do.

This is the first day I started using the essence. It was moisturizing to my skin. Didn't feel any different.

After using for about a month, I was breaking out really badly at the time, however, I do feel like the little white bumps on my forehead have decreased in number from what I used to have. The essence is hydrating, my skin really felt dry or tight. There was never any stinging feeling on any open acne wounds which is a plus.

Okay, seriously! If you compare the forehead photos from Jun 29 - Aug 8, there is a MAJOR difference! My forehead is basically ALL cleared! I also noticed that I have fewer or almost NO BLACKHEADS on my nose or on the sides of my nose.

Finally, this is the last day I used the essence before I finished the bottle. Seriously... There is a HUGE difference in my skin after using this essence! My cheeks look completely different from how they looked in Jun 29. My skin is much smoother and less acne and bumps. My pores are clear and less clogged. I have like zero blackheads on my nose which is amazing! My skin feels hydrated.


Overall, I really liked this BHA Blackhead Power Liquid!
It really is like a miracle Power Liquid! I noticed major differences to my skin from continuous use.

The amount of bumps on my forehead have decreased to almost nothing. My blackheads that I used to always have on my nose (especially at the sides of nose) are all gone and during the time I was using the essence, I swear, I never had a blackhead on my nose AT ALL which is crazy because I usually do have at least one impossible blackhead on my nose.

The essence is actually also hydrating which I know is a typical thing of essences. The purpose of most essences are to be moisturizing to the skin, to add another layer of hydration. However, this essence not only does moisturization, it's also ACNE-FIGHTING.
As someone with oily, acne-prone skin, it is super important for me to find products that are multiple functional and can help my skin as much as possible. Also, this essence did NOT break me out! Which is an improve another COSRX product that did break me out.

This essence is totally affordable, and you can even find it on sale at other places and get it even cheaper making it a complete steal.

Review: COSRX AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner

Hi Everyone! I will be discussing a very popular toner by COSRX. This is the AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner . The main reason I bought this toner to begin with was because I saw a review, I don't remember by who, that said they used this toner and noticed a big difference in their skin.
