Review: Naturekind Green Tea Peel Off Pack

Hi Everyone!

I'm sorry I've been MIA.
I started my spring semester of my Master's PA Program and it's just been a super crazy time of constant studying and school. Although, right now I'm finally on spring break, so I'm happy to be able to go back to writing my skincare reviews.

Today, I'll be reviewing another Naturekind product. At the time when I bought the first Naturekind product that I review, Naturekind Acne Clear Cleansing Foam, I also bought this peel off mask. I had been going through a peel-off mask phase and thought this one looked really interesting.
I bought this same peel-off mask from Yesstyle.com just like I bought the cleansing foam.

I've tried many different types of peel-off masks but I think this was one of my more favorite ones.
I don't know if any of you guys have ever tried the Elizavecca Hell-Pore Clean up Mask, which is THE MOST PAINFUL peel-off mask I have ever used in my life. I feel like I've been permanently scarred by that peel-off mask that for about 2-3 years I wouldn't even consider using a peel-off mask of any kind. But, then few years ago, one of my sisters got me the Formula 10.0.6 Get Your Glow On Skin-Brightening Peel Mask with Papaya + Citrus, this was the peel off mask that finally got me back into using peel-off masks again.

This peel-off mask draws out dirt in clogged pores to reveal a gorgeous, glowy complexion. It contains 5,000ppm (parts per million) of green tea powder, 165ppm of green tea water, tea tree leaf oil to sooth the skin while ceramide NP aids in moisture loss.

Also contains lupeol to soothe skin and makes moisture-oil balance.
Lupeol is a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent.

By using this peel-off mask, it'll help to enhance the absorption of skin care products as it exfoliates your face to remove unwanted sebum, blackheads, dead skin cells, and debris from your pores while delivering rich nutrients.

Features of this Green Tea Peel Off Pack:
  • Tightening
  • Natural
  • Soothing
  • Moisture
Here's a close-up of what the peel-off mask looks like. It's a brown-ish color with specks of green tea leaves throughout. It has a really thick, sticky texture that glides on smoothly.

Size: 50g

Color: Brown-ish coloring. Kind of like what dark green tea looks like in water or any kind of tea really. There were small pieces of green tea leaves riddled throughout the mask.

Fragrance: There's a really strong tea tree oil smell the moment you spread this peel-off mask all over. You can barely smell anything green tea related.

Texture: This peel-off mask has a thick, jelly-like & sticky texture.

Packaging: This mask comes in a rubbery plastic squeeze tube with a plastic white cap.

How To Use:
  1. Use after cleansing.
  2. Apply a moderate amount evenly on the face, avoid the eye andlip areas.
  3. Leave on for 10-15 minutes until the mask has dried out completely, and then gently peel off from the bottom.
How I Use It:
I used this peel-off mask at night after I had finished taking a shower when my skin was nice and clean.
I would dot my face with the mask then massage it all over my skin. Leaving the mask on for 10-15 minutes until it was completely dry.
I usually like to make the edges of the mask of my face a little thinner than the rest of my face so that it's easier to lift off my face when I'm peeling it off.
Once the mask if fully dried, I slowly peel the mask off from any edge. I know the instructions from Naturekind say from the bottom, but it honestly makes no difference. When I have all of the mask peeled off, I would go wash my face to make sure I've removed all the residue.

Here's how my skin looked before I applied the peel-off mask. My skin is clean from just finished taking a shower, but you can see my skin has many bumps/acne and it has a dull look to it.

This is what I meant when I said I dotted my face with the peel-off mask. I might've added a little more than I usually do for the picture purposes so that I could get a clearer image, but I usually just make sure I have enough mask to cover my whole face.

If you compare the difference from when I just applied the mask to 15 minutes later, there's only a slight difference in appearance. When the mask is dried, it becomes more glossy and tightens up. In the 15 minutes later image of my full face, I could barely make that little smile I was giving because of how tight the mask had dried on me.

After the 15 minutes, I peeled off the mask with my fingers. If you look at the bottom image, you can actually see that when I was peeling off the mask, some of my baby hairs came off as well!
You can actually also still see the small green tea leaves throughout the peeled off mask.
It's easy to peel off and it doesn't hurt at all.

This is how my skin looks after peeling off the mask. I haven't gone to wash my face off yet. You can see at the edges of certain areas you can still see some remnants of the mask that I wasn't able to peel off. Although I do feel like my skin looks more radiant after taking off the mask. My skin feel tight and soft.

Here's how my skin looks after rinsing off my face to remove the last remaining remnants of the peel-off mask. My skin does feel tighten, but it also has a really soft and smooth texture. I also feel like my skin looks brighter as well. My pores were cleared out from any debris that will leftover inside and literally got pulled out when I was peeling the mask off my skin.

Overall, I really liked this peel-off mask.

Like I said in the beginning, this is one of my favorite peel-off masks that I've ever used before.

I like the way it makes my skin feel. My skin feels softer and smoother after using this mask. It leaves my skin looking brighter and tighter - too bad it can't make me look younger 😉

I really don't mind the strong tea tree oil smell, I find it quite soothing but I do understand that it can be quite off putting for many people. It is a strong smell that only goes away when the mask is fully dried on your skin.

When the mask was on my skin, I actually felt like there was a cooling and refreshing sensation while it was drying. I could feel the mask drying on my face because the skin of my face would slowly become tighter and tighter and it would be harder for me to talk after about 10 minutes.

Once again, the process of peeling this mask off isn't as painful as say the Elizavecca peel off mask I mentioned at the very beginning. I'm not kidding when I say that Elizavecca one is REALLY PAINFUL which is why I'm so happy this one didn't really affect me.

Rate (out of 5 stars): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I really liked this peel-off mask and I think it's definitely worth a try! It's not expensive, on Yesstyle it's really cheap and it lasts a long time in uses. I like the results it gives me and I think it's just another way to pamper our skin to make it look better.
