Review: Dr. Althea Resveratrol 345NA_Intensive Repair Cream

I've heard of Dr.Althea, a Korean beauty skincare brand, from Sokoglam.com. Since I subscribe to Sokoglam, I of course get emails when they curate new products and when they curated Dr.Althea, I remember seeing so many people talking about what great skincare products they have.
About a week later, they sent me my very first Dr.Althea product I've ever tried, this Resveratrol 345NA_Intensive Repair Cream.

This is lightweight, fast-absorbing, nutrient-rich ointment gel-cream (I've never heard of a cream of this nature) that moisturizes skin while also strengthening and firming it up. It strengths the cell regeneration function in our skin for firmer skin while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Packed with antioxidants, it's highly effecting in soothing acne, skin inflammation, and healing acne scars.

Here's pictures of the boxing. There's information on it and I just wanted to share it. Essentially everything on the packaging I've already mentioned above.
Here's a close-up of the cap and the opening of the tube. The cap of one of those with a puncture-er thing at the top, however, you don't even need it because there isn't any covering at the opening of the tube.
Here's a close-up of the cream. It's a rich, but lightweight, creamy gel-ointment textured cream that is white in color. It's not oily and has a light rose-grape scent that I really like.
Size: 50 mL / 1.7 oz.
Color: Translucent white
Fragrance: I LOVE the smell of this cream! It has a light rose smell, but also a tinge of grape, but I mainly smell a light rose.
Texture: It's a creamy, gel-ointment texture. It's not oily by any means, and it's not thick or heavy. It's very lightweight and doesn't have that Vaseline ointment feel at all. It glides on the skin and spreads very easily. A little goes a long way. My skin feel smoother and softer after applying this cream.
Consistency: It's thick in a creamy-sense, but it's not greasy and spreads really easily without leaving a trail of oil (which is what I typically think of when I hear ointment).
Absorbency: This cream absorbs really quickly into skin and doesn't leave any oily residues.
Packaging: Comes in a hard white squeeze tube with a cap that has one of puncture-ers (but you don't even need that puncture thing...)

How To Use:
- Wash your face with a gentle cleanser suited for your skin type.
- Apply less viscous skincare products like toner first.
- Apply an adequate amount of the Cream as your final or semi-final step in your skincare routine.
How I Use It:
I use this cream both morning and night at the end of my skincare routine. However, in the morning, after I apply this cream, I also apply sunscreen.
I like to dot my face and neck with the cream and then gently massage it in. With the texture and consistency of this cream, a little goes a long way and it spreads really easily.
Once I've finished massaging it in, I'm done and have finished my skincare routine (except in the morning where sunscreen is the next step).

Top to Bottom: I'm showing how my face look BEFORE I started using the cream, AFTER the first time I used it, and the results after 1 WEEK. It's a very moisturizing, lightweight cream that makes my skin softer, smoother, and healthier. It's not oily, my face doesn't look oily nor does it cause me to produce more oils. Overall, I really like the cream!
Top to Bottom: WOW! What a change! You might not think so, but I notice my acne scars have faded, almost all the way gone, after only 1 week! How amazing is that?! My skin is moisturized and pores aren't clogged.
Seriously!!! Can I please mention again how amazing it is that after only 1 WEEK of using this Repair cream, the acne scars on my right cheek are healing to the point of almost being gone even though I've been trying to get them to repair for over 2 months?!
Left to Right: If you compare the BEFORE image to the 1 WEEK LATER image, you can see the texture of my skin has greatly improved. My skin looks and feels smoother and softer after using this cream. It's really improved the health of my skin. There were minor blemishes on my left cheek in the BEFORE image and those are basically nonexistent in the 1 WEEK LATER image.
Left to Right: Here's an overall look of my forehead. Below, I have left and right sides of my forehead close-ups because I had issues in those areas and it's hard to see in an overall image of the forehead. However, you can see that the pimples I had in the BEFORE have greatly decreased in size and the texture of my forehead has also improved over the course of a week.
Top to Bottom: The top 2 pictures are the BEFORE/AFTER pictures of the left and right side close-ups of my forehead. The below picture is a close-up of the left and right sides of my forehead a week later.
I think the images speak for themselves! Look at HOW MUCH HAS CHANGED?!?!?! I'm truly amazed. You can see the acne scars and hyperpigmentation has either faded almost all the way one or are completely gone. Again, the acne I had has also healed and my skin looks healthier and smoother.
Overall, I LOVE THIS CREAM!!!! I don't think I can sing it's praises enough. I really don't want you to think that since I'm an affiliate with Dr.Althea that I'm giving a bias review because I'm honestly NOT. This is 100% my honest review and I would never lie to your guy.
Seriously, this is an amazing repair cream. I hope you could see the amazing change in my skin that I noticed in the pictures above. Literally every time I apply the cream I'm thinking, "Man, my skin feels so soft and smooth." This Resveratrol 345NA_Intensive Repair Cream really does increase cell regeneration and help the skin healing process along. It moves so quickly that I saw impressive results in just 1 week of using both morning and night!
My acne scars and hyperpigmentations are either almost completely cleared away or are completely healed and disappeared. My acne/blemishes/redness have either decreased in size or have healed and disappeared. My skin literally feels so soft and smooth, you can literally see my skin's health looks healthier.
I also really like the smell of this Repair Cream. It's got this light rose (in the ingredients they have Evening Primrose Flower Extract, maybe this is where the smell is from) and a slight tinge of grape smell. It's not overpowering at all and it's so pleasant. The smell fades away and doesn't cause me headaches.
I know the description of the Cream can be misleading. Hearing and seeing the word "ointment," I automatically thought it would be really thick and oily, kind of like Vaseline. However, this is NOT the case. It's actually a really lightweight, creamy, gel-like consistency that glides smoothly onto your skin and absorbs really quickly. Once you massage it onto your skin, there's no oily residue and it doesn't cause me (someone who has oily skin type) to produce more oils or feel oily.
I've mentioned this before (especially in a sunscreen review), where I do a glasses test to see if the sunscreen, or cream in this case, will cause my glasses to keep slipping down my nose bridge because of how oily it is. I'm happy to report that this cream PASSED the test and didn't cause my glasses slide down my nose any more than it usually does from the natural oils I produce throughout the day.

I LOVE this Repair Cream and I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend everyone give it a try! I think if you combine this with a Vitamin C serum (not necessary mixing them together, but just having a vitamin c serum in your skincare routine), then your skin will become unstoppably (is that a word?) amazing!
I see real results with this cream and I truly believe it will work out for everyone who gives it a try. It's great for all skin types!
