Review: Purito Fermented Complex 94 Boosting Essence

Hi Everyone!

Today, I will be reviewing a skincare product that comes from a brand that has been getting a lot of recognition these past couple of years. Since a couple of years ago, this newfound idea of "clean" beauty has become a big deal. Yes, I know "clean" beauty has always been around, now more so than ever, but it never had such a spotlight on it until these past few years.

Purito is a combined word of "Purify" and "To".
"Purify" means to purify their natural ingredients to create safe and clean products.
"To" means to go back to basics to strengthen and repair collapsed skin barriers.

Infused with 94% fermented complex and 3% niacinamide, this highly-concentrated essence restores skin's water-and-oil ratio while brightening dull complexion, as well as reducing fine lines and wrinkles.

94% of this fermented essence is made up of a fermentation complex of Lactobacillus and Bifida. Lactobacillus/Rice Fermentation inhibits melanin generation and boosts skin whitening, while Bifida fermentation solution promotes skin firmness and cares for skin damage.

In addition to fermented extracts of various grains and filtrates, this essence also contains Niacinamide for effective skin whitening at more than 2%, the maximum content allowed by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety is 5%. Purito Fermented Complex 94 Boosting Essence contains 3%.
Adenosine, an anti-aging ingredient, that strengthens cell proliferation in the dermal layer of the skin to help maintain firmness with a wrinkle-improving ingredient certified by the FDA.

This essence completely eliminates harmful ingredients such as Phenoxyethanol, paraben and PEG which are common ingredients of expensive fermentation essence. The essence is a safe product manufactured exclusively from a first-class ingredient certified as EWG Green Level.

EXTRA NOTE: Pregnancy Safe, No Animal Testing, 100% Vegan

This is the opening of the essence bottle. It had a foil covering when it's brand new and unopened.
Here's a close-up of the essence. It's colorless and has a watery, but slightly thick texture.

How To Use:
User it every morning and evening.
  1. After cleansing, apply eye cream. Take the Fermented Essence into the cotton pad and clean it along the skin texture lines.
  2. Again, take the Fermented Essence in your palm and spread it gently to immerse your whole face.

How I Use It:
I used this essence both morning and night, after I applied toner to my skin. I poured out about a nickle-sized about of essence to my palm and lightly spread and pat it all over my face. Once the essence was fully absorbed into my skin, I continued on with the rest of my skincare routine.

Below are pictures of me using this essence
Before/After pictures of me using the essence. The difference is really miniscule. It's mostly hydrating and provides a light brightening.
Before/After of my cheeks. You can see it hydrated my skin and added a light brightness which is more evident on the apples of my cheeks.
Before/After of my forehead. There really isn't much of a difference here beside the hydrating and non-irritating factor.

Overall, this is a nice essence and I like it.
I don't really notice any anti-aging effects from this essence. I feel like the only thing this essence really accomplished is hydrating my skin and helping to balance my oil-sebum production.

I find this essence to be nicely moisturizing. During the winter, if I wanted extra moisture, I would put another layer of the essence, but I usually just only do one layer.
This essence doesn't irritate my skin or cause any kind of redness. It really is great for all skin types, even sensitive skin. As someone with oily skin, I like that this essence doesn't cause me to produce more oils and doesn't feel heavy on my face. The lightweight-ness of this essence is truly a godsend.

There was a light-slight brightening effect from this essence. It helps to take the dullness away for the skin, creating a sort of glow. I do feel like with continued use, it helps to lighten the acne scars I had on my cheeks.

It's great that it's fragrance free and absorbs quickly into the skin.

I really like that "clean"-ness of this product and I'm 100% going to try other skincare products from Purito.

Rate (out of 5 stars): ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I like this essence and I think it's worth a try. Many others before me and I'm sure others after me will say the same things. It's a great essence that does give results. I would recommend this essence to anyone and I'm excited to try other products from Purito in the future.
Great for all skin types, even for sensitive skin.
