REVIEW: Neogen Dermalogy Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling Green Tea Pads
Hi Everyone! Sorry it's been a while since I last posted a review. My last semester in college has started and it already seems like I've been in school for so long instead of just 3 weeks.
I will try my best to be more constant in my posts.
Today I will be reviewing the NEOGEN DERMALOGY BIO-PEEL GAUZE PEELING GREEN TEA PADS.
I have actually used the other "flavors" that Neogen has, Wine & Lemon, however, I've already finished them a while ago and don't have any pictures to provide, but I can still give some general information about them.
These gauze pads provide a gentle manual exfoliation combined with chemical peeling effects from the green tea serum which will help remove dead skin cells, cleanse, and purify your skin.
After using 1 pad, your skin should feel smoother through the unique 3-layer 100% cotton gauze pad, which will exfoliate off the dead skin cells at the surface of your skin, thereby, providing clearer looking skin.
If you look at the container of the pads, Neogen claims to "promote visibly clearer, smoother & moisturized skin."

Resveratrol comes from red wine and is naturally fermented, with naturally occurring AHAs that also help with the exfoliation process. Resveratrol is a powerful antioxidant which helps prevent free radicals from pigmenting or forming wrinkles on your skin.
Neogen Dermalogy Bio-Peel Lemon Gauze Pads
Promotes visibly clearer, smoother & brighter skin.
Soaked in Lemon Serum, a Vitamin C rich serum formulated from various antioxidant and vitamin-rich natural ingredients, giving a brighter, healthier, and refreshed skin look.
Gauze Pads are HYPOALLERGENIC, 100% Cotton
Has a Dual Texture Layer, a "textured"/exfoliate/rough side and a "smooth"/soft side.
The "textured" side will gently exfoliate dead skin cells, excess sebum, and impurities.
The "smooth" side will softly wipe away exfoliated skin to even out textures.
How To Use:
After cleansing your skin, take 1 gauze pad and slip your fingers, 2 - 3 fingers, into the slip area and gently sweep across your dry face and neck. It is said to best work in outward motions and avoid your eye area, this way you will minimize creating wrinkles in unnecessary areas. You can swipe around problem areas longer if needed. Rinse with warm water, then continue on with your normal skincare routine.
Recommended to use twice a week or as needed.
How I Use It:
I usually only use this once a week, typically on Wednesday, at NIGHT only. I only use it once a week because I do a rougher physical exfoliation on Saturdays with a sugar mask, so I don't feel the need to use these pads as often.
So after I've finished showering, I take a pad and put my fingers into the slip area and start gentle exfoliating my face in circular motions with the "textured" side first. At problem areas, like my oily t-zone or any area with pimples, I would go over them multiple times. Once I feel that I have exfoliated my skin enough, I flip the pad over to the "smooth" side to even out my skin and wipe any debris away.
Once I'm done wiping my skin, I like the squeeze out the excess liquid from the pad and spread it all over my face, especially concentrating at problem areas. I let the excess liquid sit on my face for a couple of seconds to about 1 minute, then I rinse my face off with warm to hot water.
I always like to look a the pads after I have finished exfoliating my skin to see if I wiped off anything significant on my skin. Here are BEFORE & AFTER shots of how the pads look like when I used it. If you look at the after shots, you can see on that the cotton fibers are more disrupted, especially more visible on the "textured" side than the "smooth" side. On this particular day when I exfoliated, there wasn't much debris on the pads after I used it, maybe there is some dead skin cells on it and I just can't see it? I'm not completely sure.
As you can see, my skin does look brighter after using these pads! I also feel like the pimple on my forehead had a reduce in redness and irritation, which is GREAT! My skin did feel smoother, clearer, and moisturized. I don't know if you can tell, but in the BEFORE picture, the skin around my eyes and smile-lines were more dry/dehydrated/tighter feeling. However, once I used the pad, my skin felt moisturized and not as tight, almost like a plump feeling (especially on my cheeks).
Rate (out of 5 stars):⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
5 Stars! I noticed a difference in my skin, it's really gentle, and lasts me a long time! I would highly recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin or anyone that wants to use a gentle exfoliate that will actually see results.
One container gives 30 PADS and since I only use 1 pad a week, 1 container can last me about 7 months! However, I do occasionally share with my sister, so I would give one month about 3 to 4 months.
