Review: Coibana Collagen Pore Clean Pack

Today I will be talking about this charcoal pore mask.

I bought this mask quite a while ago, back when Memebox.com used to sale skincare products on their website that weren't their own products, so at least 2 years ago. However, I didn't actually start using this mask till a few months ago.

I'm a big fan of charcoal masks, they're a great way to detoxify your pores, cleansing your skin, and minimizing pores. 

I have used multiple charcoal masks in the past and this is a create dupe for the Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask to Clear Pores.

Features of this Pore Mask:

1. Reinforced moist collagen ingredient

   For thoroughly caring for pores, its collagen ingredient has been reinforced which provides immediate resilience to the skin and makes skin soft without tightening

2. Sebum Care + Exfoliation + Waste Control

    The produce smoothly exfoliates widened pores from make-up residues and wastes, making the skin soft. Removes dirt, dead skin, any buildup in pores

Great for ALL Skin types, even Sensitive skin!

How To Use: 

After cleansing, apply pore clean pack using the spatula included in the package. You can apply on the whole face, on the nose, and/or on the T-zone. After 10-15 mins, wash off with warm water.

How I Use It:

I only used this mask at NIGHT, about 1-2 times a week. When I used a mask, I just like to apply it on my whole face, I'm not one to use multiple different masks on my face for different areas all at one time.

I'm lazy and I don't use the spatula to apply the mask onto my face, instead I just use a clean finger to swipe the mask all over my face. Once I have enough of the mask on my face, I rub it around and let it sit on my face for 5 - 10 mins. 

Once the mask has dried and I can see the "whites" from areas that were extracted from my pores, I wash off the mask with warm water.

I had a pimple on my right cheek, this was a great opportunity to see the abilities of this mask on a pimple.

1st Picture: I had just applied the mask onto my face, so the mask is still wet.

2nd Picture: This is about 5 mins after the mask has been on.

3rd picture: This is right before I washed off the mask. You can see the mask pulled out a lot of impurities from my pimple, could be sebum or pus. There are some "white" dots surrounding the pimple, which is where I have sebum in my pores that are being pulled out by the mask.

This is a close-up of my nose bridge area. I had some small pimples here. The mask helped pull sebum out from my pores here.

This is how the mask looks overall.

1st Picture: I have just applied the mask, it is still wet. I can still smile because the mask isn't dried.

2nd Picture: The mask has dried on my skin after 5-10 mins, I can't smile because the mask is dried and hard. Creates small wrinkles when dried, but doesn't flake.

Here are close-ups of the Before/After pictures of my cheek and my face. I forgot to take the before and after pictures of my nose bridge.

Cheek: There's a HUGE difference in my skin! You can see there is reduced redness at the pimple. The pimple has deflated and reduced in size. The pores around the pimple area are minimized. Skin is smoothed out.

Face: My skin looks a little brighter, it's smoother, and not dried out. There's reduced redness at problem areas.

 Overall, I really liked this mask!

I love that you can see results instantly, especially at problem areas such as pimples because the mask will literally pull out the sebum and it because a "white" dot/spot on your face. It's like a map, telling you where to look to see that you have sebum in your pore, which can lead to pimples or future pimples.
Not only does it help reduce pimples, but it also reduced redness! If you look at the close-up picture of my CHEEK, you can see a major difference from the BEFORE/AFTER pictures. My pimple on my cheek has reduced in size and redness. The pores around the area have also shrunk.

Which brings me to my next point, pores are minimized. I notice especially at my nose that my pores get cleaned out and minimized after using this mask.

My skin is not dried out after washing off this mask. It doesn't feel tight either.

 I really like this mask and I would highly recommend it to everyone to try. I love that I can see results right away and I can see where on my face sebum is being taken out.
