Review: AMPLE:N Peeling Shot Ampoule

Hello Everyone!

Today, I will be reviewing my very last product from AMPLE:N. I've review all of their other ampoule... well except their hyaluronic acid ampoule, but I'm not really interested it testing it out because I feel like it would be too much for my oily skin.

Anyways, this ampoule is one that I got from 08Liter.com as part of their TRY NOW campaign, where I pay a discounted price of $3.99 to try out a product and in return I provide my own honest review. At the time I got the product, they only give you 2 weeks to test it out and then you have to review it. So I did give my initial review on their website, but now, I have actually used this ampoule more in depth and have actually finished it, so I feel like I will be able to give a better review. Also, I have almost daily pictures chronicling my journey using this ampoule.
The slogan of AMPLE:N is: "Natural beauty without injections."
I know it's not really important, but I just thought it was interesting. It gives you an idea of what their goal and purpose is with their skincare products.

Information about the Peeling Shot Ampoule (you can find more on Coreana's website. I will just be take what I think is important, but they go a little more in depth for some of the ingredients.)
This highly concentrated peptide thread ampoule melts between the cracks of the skin and regains the firmness and elasticity like a thread lifting effect. Three peptides specialized for deep wrinkle reduction, skin firmness, facial wrinkles are selected for elasticity care.

It's called the Peeling Shot ampoule because it's suppose to remove only dead cells without damaging the living and healthy skin cells.

Additionally, it does many other things, such as:
  • Stabilizes the sebaceous glands
  • Restores the hydrobalance of the skin, protecting it from transepidermal water loss
  • It has anti-edema, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial effects
  • Provides antioxidant effect on the epidermis
  • Lightens, fights pigmentation
  • Promotes self-rejuvenation of the skin, and evens out skin color and tone
On the bottle, you'll see it says something called Micro Derma-Shot Technology. This is a type of skincare technique that allows the penetration of active ingredients into the deep layers of the skin without needing the use of injections.

Has a really runny and watery texture.

Fragrance: There's like a light herbal scent to it. Reminds me of products that are heavily contained with centella asiatica. They call it a "Green Aroma."

Texture: It's really runny and watery, feels really lightweight on the skin.

How To Use: After using toner, apply a small amount of the peeling ampoule to the face and spread it over the skin of the face with light movements from the bottom upwards, from the center to the periphery. On problem areas, apply locally with a second layer and leave overnight.

How I Use It:
I use this ampoule both morning and night, essentially as my "serum" step, after I've applied my toner and essence. I like to dot my face with it and lightly massage it into my skin. I definitely do a second layer on my problem areas, such as acne or acne scars. Once finished and fully absorbed, I continue on with the rest of my skincare routine.

Below are a series of photos of me using this ampoule over a period of time. We can see whether or not it was able to improve my skin.

As you can see, I definitely have acne on my forehead and cheeks. I also have healing acne scars on my cheeks. There's also minor hyperpigmentation on my upper forehead and cheeks.

After applying the ampoule, you can especially see on my forehead that it looks shinier. It goes on smoothly and almost leaves an oil-slick feel, but it absorbs really quickly and doesn't leave any oily feel afterwards.  It's lightly moisturizing.

It's Day 3 and the acne on my cheeks are essentially healed!

I can see that the hyperpigmentation that was on my upper forehead is also slowly diminishing, it's a lighter brown color now.

I feel like my upper forehead area isn't as bumpy as it used to be. I used to have a bunch of little tiny bumps there and now it's almost all gone and really smooth.

My cheeks actually look really clear and smooth!

I was having a bad breakout, but overall, the ampoule was working really well for my skin.

Overall, I really liked this ampoule!

I feel like I definitely saw results from using it. My skin was smoother and softer. My acne was clearing up really quickly and my scars were also going away faster. It did help a little with the hyperpigmentation that I had on my forehead and cheeks.

I think the only con is that initially when you apply it, it almost feels sort of oily-ish and your skin has this shiny look to it (as you can see from my pictures), however, once the ampoule is fully absorbed, that oily feel goes away and it's like you didn't apply anything on. However, because it has that slick-ness to it, a little of the ampoule goes a long way.

It is lightly moisturizing. I wouldn't say that you could only use this and you'd be good to go. You'd definitely need to put on a face cream afterwards, especially if you have dry skin.

The scent of the ampoule isn't a big deal to me. Honestly, most time I don't even notice it. That's how minor the smell is.

The good news, the price isn't horrible if you go to the right places. It's definitely cheaper on Amazon and eBay instead of Stylekorean.
