Review: Premiere Look Silk Lifting Eye and Neck Cream

Hi Everyone!

Today, I will be reviewing a product that I bought at a discount price of $3.99 from 08Liter in return for my own honest review.
I was just doing my daily browsing of the 08Liter website when I saw this campaign for this skincare product. It look really luxurious and fancy, so it was literally calling out to me to try. I literally had my laptop window left open on the campaign page, waiting for the minutes to tick down so that I could be one of the first people order it before they ran out. Luckily I GOT IT!!!!!!!!

I got it for a total steal since it usually cost anywhere between $55-60, and I only paid $3.99!

I've never heard of this brand nor have I ever seen it either. It's from the brand: Premiere Look
It's a Korean skincare brand and you essentially can NOT get in the US. I was able to find it on Amazon, but that's it - I will give a link for the product at the bottom.
Either way, I just saw that it's an anti-aging and lifting cream that is targeted for the eye and neck areas. I'm assuming it's because this cream is lighter which makes it better for areas that have thinner/more delicate skin, AKA the eye and neck areas. You can NEVER start too early on anti-aging on the eye and neck areas. I definitely have some crows feet by my eyes. My neck area wasn't a huge concern for me. I'm mainly using this cream to target my eyes, and I plan to apply it ALL OVER MY FACE, just so that I can see faster effects and see a greater change.
When the product arrived at my house, look how CUTE it was packaged!!!
The little tag says: "Thank you for your interest. I hope you have a good experience. -PREMIERE LOOK-"

When I took it out of the packaging, they had it in this gold goody bag.
Premiere Look was also really sweet and gave me 2 SAMPLES: 1 of this same cream & 1 of their other cream product - Steam Glow Volume Cream.
Seriously~ How cute is this?! I've never had a product sent to me like this and it was such a complete surprise that I was showing it off to everyone that would listen to me.

This is the boxing of the cream. Again, this is the actual product that I will be reviewing. The next pictures below are the samples that were given to me.
The boxing was really nice and shiny. I just felt like it was really fancy.

This cream contains 9 peptides and silk amino acid. It's a highly concentrated firming cream that gives rich nutrition to thin, wrinkled skin.

The thin skin around the eyes is easily wrinkled by a variety of stressful conditions and physicial manipulation. Various nutrients such as 24K gold, Propolis, and Honey help the cream absorb deep into the skin to take care of wrinkles - creating a young and luminous skin look.

It's suppose to be able to increase dermal density by MATRIXYL. I'm assuming this is a patented skincare technology that Premiere Look uses in this cream.
This is a high-class protein solution for firming skin. The 9-peptide complex has patented peptide thread from France and silk amino acids in order to protect the skin from aging.

These are the 2 samples that were given as well.

They also gave small business cards that have an introduction to each sample product.

The packaging of this cream is SO extra. It has a nice gold lid that is really reflective. The container itself is plastic, NOT glass, but was had a nice heaviness to it to make it feel substantial.

The cream is a pale yellow color that is creamy and sticky in texture.

When I took the inner lid off, this was the first thing I saw. It was sticky/stringy and goopy. My first impression was "oh... it's sticky..." I was actually really nervous about this because I'm not a fan of sticky creams. They always feel gross on my skin and leave me feeling really tacky.

Here's a close-up of the cream. You can see that it's thick and creamy, while also being sticky and stringy.
The sticky cream type is suppose to deliver active ingredients to your skin for a long time, providing a soft skin texture like silk.
I don't see how having a "sticky cream type" has anything to do with how well the active ingredients in the cream will be absorbed into the skin, but this is what Premiere Look is claiming.

Size: 2.7 oz. / 80 mL

Color: Pale light yellow

Texture: Stringy, Sticky, Creamy, and Goopy

Fragrance: There's like a shea butter and lavender smell. The lavender smell is pretty strong and gives a refreshingness to the cream, but  that shea butter smell is really strong and slightly off putting. The smell does go away as you apply the cream onto your skin.

Absorbency: Absorbs quickly into the skin. Does NOT leave a sticky or tacky feel to the skin. Skin feels really moisturized and smooth after application. Doesn't feel oily at all.

Packaging: Comes in a nice plastic shimmery brown jar/tub and a gold lid.

Accessories: NONE. I at least expected a spatula, but they didn't give any - This was slightly disappointing.

Free From: Artificial flavorings.

How To Use:
At the final skincare step, apply proper amount of cream to face and lightly pat to absorb.
  1. Apply to clean skin in the morning and evening.
  2. Gently massage into the skin on your neck and decollete using UPWARD motions, as if you are lifting your skin.
  3. With RING finger, apply sparingly to entire eye area using gentle patting motion.
How I Use It:
I use this cream both morning and night at the end of my skincare routine. It's really sticky and stringy, so when I dip my finger into the cream, I have to wait like 1-2 second for the stringy-ness of the cream to subside. I like to dot my face and neck with the cream, then I gently massage it into the skin. For my neck, I try to always do upward motions, but sometimes I either forget or only semi do it.
For my eye area, I just dot my under eyes and use my ring finger to gently tap the cream all over the eye area.

Below are pictures of me using this cream over the course of 2 weeks to see if there are any changes to my skin.

BEFORE                                           DURING                                        AFTER
My skin feel moisturized and plump.

This is how my hand looks after applying the cream all over. It looks oily, but trust me, it doesn't feel oily at all. The cream doesn't leave any kind of oily residue.

BEFORE                                                  AFTER
Here's a close-up on my cheek. My skin feel moisturized and plump after applying the cream. My skin also feel smooth.

BEFORE
I forgot to take an AFTER picture of my eyes after I applied the cream, but I still wanted to add these pictures to my blog because we can compare them to the pictures of my eyes at the end of 2 weeks to see if there are any changes.
I'm not smiling so you can't really see the wrinkles at the corners of my eyes, but I do have some small under eye wrinkles.

1 WEEK LATER
BEFORE
DURING
AFTER
I wanted to show pictures of me both smiling widely and just regularly, this way we can see the wrinkles and see if there's any changes. So far, it's only been 1 week, so there aren't changes to wrinkles. Again, my skin feel moisturized and plump. I definitely understand the whole "nutritious"-ness of the cream. My skin does feel healthier.

BEFORE
DURING
You can literally see how stringy the cream is on my skin when I applied it on.
AFTER
My skin has a slightly brightness to it after applying the cream. It feels really smooth and moisturized.

2 WEEKS LATER
BEFORE
AFTER
Again, my skin looks brighter after applying the cream. It's also much more moisturized and feels healthier.

BEFORE
AFTER
I don't see much of a change in my eyes other than that it feels hydrated.

BEFORE
AFTER
I didn't see a change in the wrinkles around my eyes.

BEFORE
AFTER
There's an added brightness to my skin after using this cream. My cheeks definitely feel plumper.

Overall, I really like this cream and have really enjoyed the experience of using it.

I'll start with the only bad thing I can think of, the SMELL. I'm not a huge fan of the shea butter & lavender smell of this cream. It's mainly the shea butter than throws me off. The good news is, the smell goes away really quickly once you've applied the cream onto your skin and I don't even notice the smell after I've finished rubbing it in.

Also, I think the texture is a little weird. The stringy-sticky texture is just so unseen in a face cream, unless it's a snail product, but even then it's nothing compared to this. I don't get how having a sticky type cream will enable ingredients to be fully absorbed into the skin, but whatever....

I really like that this cream is NOT heavy or oily at all. However, it SHOULD be this way seeing as how this is a cream that is for the targeted areas of the eyes and neck which have thinner skin. If the cream were to be too heavy, it runs the risk of causing people to develop millia (the light white bumps under the eyes or neck. You can actually see that I already had some at the inner under eye area of my skin).
I think this is a major plus for the cream. Since I did apply the cream ALL over my face instead of only my eyes and neck, I was hoping to see more immediate results. However, I didn't notice any sort of anti-aging or lifting effect after using the cream for 2 weeks. I did however feel that my skin felt incredibly moisturized, smooth, and looked healthier. I also noticed a glow/brightness to my skin after massaging the cream into the skin.

I really do like this cream and really enjoyed using it. I think another down side about this cream is the price. I'm a really stingy person, so paying $55-60 for 1 cream is really excessive to me. However, since I was able to get it for a discounted price, it was a major steal.
I think I would need to continue to use it to see if it really does have those anti-aging and anti-wrinkle effects. If it really does, then I might be more willing to pay the higher cost price.

Rate (out of 5 stars): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I like this cream and I would recommend anyone who is willing to pay the high price to give it a try. I think my skin is definitely healthier and brighter, and I can't wait to continue to use the cream to see if my minor wrinkles will also diminish.
