Review: Bellamonster Feellan Soft Peeling Gel

Hi Everyone!

Today, I will be reviewing a peeling gel that I found from Yesstyle.com. However, I want to state that at the current time of my writing this review (7/25/2020), Yesstyle NO LONGER has this product available. They might have it again in the future, so I will link it down below.

I bought this peeling gel last year. I always like to use a chemical exfoliator once a week, then a physical exfoliator once a week. I typically chemically exfoliate on Wednesday nights and physically exfoliate on Saturday nights. I find having a schedule for certain skincare routines (such as exfoliation, face masks, etc.) enables me to use a variety of products instead of just focusing on finishing one product at a time.

Again, sometime last year, I was on Yesstyle.com, just browsing around and I saw this peeling gel. It just happened to be on sale at the time and I saw it had good reviews. At the time, I was using another peeling gel that I knew wouldn't last much longer, so I wanted a replacement and chose to buy this one from Bellamonster.

This peeling gel is formulated with papaya extract to remove dirt and dead skin cells, plus 23 herbal ingredients from the ancient Korean medical book Dongui Bogam to nourish skin. As a hypoallergenic peeling gel, it melts away dead skin cells, supports skin turnover, and thoroughly peels off impurities for a smooth, clear complexion that's refreshing and soft to the touch.

Papaya Extract has a multitude of skincare benefits. Some include:
šŸ Helps reduce signs of aging
šŸ Good skin moisturizer
šŸ Eliminates pimples and acne
šŸ Exfoliating dead skin
šŸ Brightens the skin
šŸ Reduce under-eye dark circles
šŸ Soothing cuts and burns

This peeling gel contains GOLD and other nutritive ingredients to prevent irritation and repair skin.
šŸ“€Gold has been regarded as a rare and luxurious material since ancient times, with an excellent affinity to the human body. This peeling gel contains gold to revitalize and brighten dull skin.
šŸ“€This gel also contains ingredients that replenish and repair skin, leaving it sleek and radiant.

The Papaya Extract in this peeling gel is used as a natural exfoliator.
šŸ The naturally derived papaya extract minimizes irritation and exfoliates dead skin cells without causing redness.

Bellamonster likes to mention how this peeling gel contains 23 natural ingredients. These natural ingredients are recorded in a famous ancient Korean medical book Dongui Bogam, and are regarded as beneficial for the human body and skin. Carefully selected and extracted under low temperatures, the ingredients readily deliver nutrients that replenish and repair skin.

  2. Wash away the rubbed-off dead skin cells and skin waste with lukewarm water.
How I Use It:
Like I mentioned at the top, I only use chemical exfoliators once a week, therefore, I only used this peeling gel on Wednesday nights. I would use this peeling gel at night after I have finished shower. Squeezed out the amount I would need to cover my face and gently massage it around. Once I feel like my skin has been exfoliated enough, I rinse off the peeling gel with warm water.

Below are pictures of me using this peeling gel

Here's a look at my face from using this peeling gel. It's really only a light chemical exfoliator, nothing heavy duty. My skin does look brighter and feel softer after using the peeling gel.
Here's a look of what the after effects of massaging the peeling gel around. You can see bits of white clumps on my fingers, most likely the exfoliated dead skin cells.

Here's a close-up of me using the peeling gel of my cheek. The difference between the Before and After (in my opinion), is that my skin looks brighter and softer. The brightness is definitely due to the gold flecks in the gel.

Overall, this is a really gentle peeling gel that leaves my skin feel soft and looking brighter.

My skin looks brighter because of the gold flecks in the peeling gel. One thing that does annoy me is that the gold flecks stay on your skin, AKA it was all over my hands and face. So when I was applying other skincare products, I could see gold flecks transfer onto the bottles and other surfaces that I touch. I was expecting that when I washed off the peeling gel, ALL of it would come off, meaning along with the gold, but it doesn't and it stays. I would've preferred a peeling gel that makes my skin look brighter, but doesn't leave any kind of "stuff" leftover.

Although, I do like that it's such a gentle chemical exfoliator. It doesn't cause my skin to become irritated or red. My skin always feels soft and never dry or tight. I think it would be a great exfoliator for any skin type.

One bad thing about this peeling gel is it's SUPER hard to find! As of the day I wrote this blog, I couldn't find it anywhere online. I bought it from Yesstyle and they've stopped selling it. Hopefully, they will bring it back if any of you want to give it a try.

Rate (out of 5 stars):⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is a good peeling gel, I'm just really nit picky about the gold flecks. I think it would be great for all skin types and it's worth a try.
