Review: Neogen A-Clear Soothing Clear Spot Patch

I have another review for today! This review is also part of my series of reviews for products that I received from Stylekorean as part of their Try Me;Review Me Campaign of their favorite Neogen skincare products. I received this product for free in return for my honest opinion.

This is one product that I was really excited to try. If you've been reading my blog posts for a while now, you'll know I'm a huge fan of pimple patches! I've tried many different brands and I've reviewed many brands. I'm always trying to find the best, thin pimple patch. I've made no secret that my favorite is the By Wishtrend Clear Skin Shield Patch, however, I will admit these patches from Neogen come to a near second place!

These hydrocolloid patches help to absorb excess sebum and secretions from breakouts and zits while remaining gentle and almost invisible on your skin. They create a moist environment to prevent scabbing and scarring. Also, acts as a protective sterile barrier from external bacteria, water, dust and dirt.

These slim patches have thin edges to allow them to stay on bumpy surfaces with better adhesion. The center of patches can be concentrated with formula for effective spot treatment. 
The patches are translucent, minimizing visibility for a natural look. They can stay put for a long time with its waterproof, strong adhesion, while protecting the wound from water, so it will stay on through washing!

Here are pictures of the two sizes of pimple patches given. There are only two sizes - 12 mm or 10 mm, giving 12 of each size.
These pimple patches are super thin! It's was so hard to get a good photo of how thin they are, I don't think they're thinner than the By Wishtrend patches, but it's pretty close!

Color: Invisible, clear, has a slight skin tone color

Fragrance: None

Free From: artificial fragrance, color, parabens, sulfates, animal products, alcohol, mineral oil, essential oils and silicone.

Full Ingredients List: Hydrocolloid adhesive patch 0.39mm

How To Use:
  1. Cleanse and dry the skin thoroughly. Remove a patch from film.
  2. Apply it onto targeted area.
  3. Gently press the edges of the patch with fingers for 2-3 seconds.

How I Use It:
I use these pimple patches both morning and night after I have washed my face and haven't applied anything. Where ever I feel needs the patch, such as pimples, I just pick between the two sizes (which ever one I need to fit the trouble area) and place the patch on top of it. I leave it on either overnight or throughout the day until morning or night when I take it off. I don't change the patch in between, just leave it on.

This was a pimple on cheek. You can see how the pimple was deflated and all that was left was the "hole" of the pimple. You can see all the gunk that came out on the patch. Even the surround area of the pimple had impurities come out on the patch which I was expecting. 
Here's another pimple that was about a 2 cm of the inner corner of my eye. I forgot to take BEFORE/AFTER pictures of the pimple patch, so I'm sorry about that. You can kind of see the Before/After of the pimple patch, but it's sort of hard to see the After of the pimple patch. Either way, you can see that the pimple was deflated after using the patch.
Side note: I completely forgot I had the patch on since it's so thin that I actually washed my whole face in the morning with the Neogen Green Tea Cleansing Stick without even realizing it was still there!


Overall, these pimple patches are GREAT!

I love that they're really thin! You almost can't even tell you have them on your skin and they're so lightweight, you can easily forget you even have it on! That's exactly what happened to me in the second pimple patch photos I showed you above.

These patches do a great job of removing impurities from the targeted and surrounding areas. They really do help deflated my problem areas, speeding up the healing process for me.

I think these are my second favorite pimple patches after the By Wishtrend ones!

I do wish they would give more, especially for the regular price. I feel like 24 is so little, but it is a pretty standard amount, I guess...
I think they're great but they're definitely more expensive than the ones I usually buy in bulk by COSRX on Amazon.

These patches are great! I love that they're so thin and effective. You can literally forget you even have them on and they really are almost invisible on your skin! I would highly recommend them!

Hi Everyone! I will be discussing a very popular toner by COSRX. This is the AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner . The main reason I bought this toner to begin with was because I saw a review, I don't remember by who, that said they used this toner and noticed a big difference in their skin.
