Review: Neogen Real Ferment Micro Serum

This will be the last product that I review from the series of skincare products that I received from Stylekorean as part of their Try Me; Review Me campaign of their favorite Neogen skincare products.
Again, I received this product for free from Stylekorean in return for my honest opinion.
This Neogen Real Ferment Micro Serum has an accompanying Essence that I have also reviewed today.
This intensive gel-type serum contains 61% natural fermented ingredients, Vitamins C, E, and B5, as well as active ingredients like panthenol and collagen that quickly absorb into the skin to help reinforce skin elasticity while delivering instant hydration and skin radiance. This real fermented micro serum helps improve skin's natural strength for firmer, brighter, and healthier looking skin.
Contains elasticity-improving ingredients such as Bifida Ferment Lysate and Saccharomyces Ferment Filtrate while also delivering a concentrated boost of nutrients and antioxidants to skin. Additionally, Betula Alba Juice (Birch Juice) is included in the ingredients to provide antioxidant benefits while Rice Ferment Filtrate brightens complexion and balances oil production.

Here's a closeup of the serum. It's creamy, thick gel-like texture, but has a stringy-ness to it as well.

Fragrance: Fragrance-free
Texture: It has a creamy, thick gel-like texture, but also has an interesting stringy-ness to it, like a sticky-stringy look, but it doesn't make my skin feel sticky at all. My skin feels smooth and soft after using.
Consistency: Again, it's a gel-like consistency with a sort of stringy-ness to it. It glides onto skin really easily and spreads well. You don't need a lot to cover a large surface area.
Absorbency: It does take some time for the essence to fully absorb into the skin, I would say about 1-2 minutes.
Packaging: Comes in similar packing to the Real Ferment Micro Essence, only just smaller since it's a serum. I'm pretty sure it's a glass bottle, if not than it's a thick, heavy-duty plastic kind of bottle.

After cleansing and toning, apply this serum after your essence when your skin is still damp. pump a pea-sized amount of the serum onto clean fingers and smooth over skin, gently patting to help absorption.
How I Use It:
I used this serum both morning and night after I have finished applying my toner and essence. I pump out a really small dollop of the serum since a little goes a long way. It's usually a pea-sized amount or less that I pump out and I dot my face and neck with it. I gently massage the serum into my skin, gently spreading the serum all around. Once the serum is fully absorbed, I continue on with the rest of my skincare routine.

Here's a look of the Before/After of my skin when using the serum, as well as how I applied the serum. It's deeply hydrating/moisturizing and definitely provides a shine to my skin.
My skin looks brighter after applying the serum on. It also makes me skin feel very soft and smooth. My cheeks feel plumper as well!
In this Before/After, it's really apparent to me how much brighter and moisturized my skin looks after using this serum.
1 Week of Use
After a week of having this serum, my face feels softer, smoother, and plumper. It's intensely hydrating/moisturizinf, creating a layer of moisture over my face. My skin looks brighter from using this serum.
You can see how moisturized my skin looks after using this serum. It gives this shine to my skin, a brightness that gives me a glow-dewyness.
2 Weeks of Use
After 2 weeks of using this serum, my skin looks brighter, softer, smoother, and plumper. While I did develop some acne over the course of the week, it was due to stress, my skin still feels incredibly smoother and softer whenever I apply this serum on.
After 2 weeks of using this serum, my skin is brighter and plumper, especially at my cheeks. I like that it's hydrating, but not in heavy way and givese a bright glowing look.
Overall, I like this serum, but since I have oily skin, I would mainly use it in the colder winter months.
It's a intensely hydrating/moisturizing serum that has a thick, creamy gel-like texture that makes a little serum go a long way. Whenever I apply the serum on, I only need a little bit dot around my face and neck to cover all the surfaces. The serum makes my skin feel so SOFT and SMOOTH. Literally, it's like a smooth canvas that has a brightening, glow. My glowy skin has a plump bouncy-ness to it that makes my skin feel more youthful.
Unlike the Real Ferment Micro Essence, this Serum is not build-able. Due to it's thicker texture, one layer of serum is really all that you'll need, anymore and it'll begin to feel heavy and oily.
When I have this serum on, it does provide a slick, smooth feeling to my skin, like there's this layer over my skin that I constantly want to keep smoothing around. At first I thought it was an oily feeling, but later on I realized it's just the moisturizing aspects of the serum and it goes away once the serum is fully absorbed which takes a couple of minutes. However, once absorbed, my skin really does have that nice bouncy, soft, smooth look to it.
It's really gentle and great for all skin types. I didn't break out from using it and it didn't cause any redness to me skin.
Rate (out of 5 stars): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is a really luxurious feeling serum that I think is great. I love that it's super hydrating/moisturizing while not causing any adverse skin reactions to me. I would highly recommend this product for everyone to try. People with dry skin will love this product. If you're like me who has oily skin, I would mainly use this serum in colder, drier months like during winter, but if you like intense hydration throughout the year, then you can still use it during the hotter months as well.
