Review: Keep Cool Soothe Fixence Mist

Part 2: Keep Cool Soothe Fixence Mist

In general, I don't really use a face mist because I feel like you waste a lot of product when you mist your face because a lot of the mist also misses your face... but fear not! This face mist, the mist mechanism is actually pretty accurate and whenever you spray your face, it goes directly to your face.

Description: It fixes moisturizing and soothing energy in your skin without irritation. This is recommended for who has blushed, troubled skin and wants to have prompted soothing care. Also perfectly fixes makeup and provides a radiant glow.

The Keep Cool Fixence Mist combines makeup fixer, essence, and mist into one convenient spray bottle. Given a 99.3% satisfaction rating by Allure Korea's product testing panel, this mist has quickly become a cult favorite! Unlike conventional mists which quickly evaporate, the Keep Cool Fixence Mist combines a moisturizing oil layer and refreshing water layer to keep your skin glowing all day long.

The Keep Cool Fixence Soothe Mist contains centella extract and aloe vera leaf water, and is great for those with acne prone skin.

Centella asiatica, allantoin, and aloe extracts help to calm irritation and fight inflammation. Nigella sative seed oil creates a shield to protect your skin from external aggressors and stimuli.

Some star ingredients:

• Scutellaria Balcalensis, Lonicerae Flos, and Forsythia Fruit: these 3 types of plants are well-known to have natural fever reducing effects which help to cool down your skin and maintain the best skin condition.
• Centella Asiatica Extract, Allantoin, Aloe Vera leaf Juice, and Black cumin seed oil essence: these 4 types of substances effectively sooth irritated skin and natural oil, black cumin seed oil essence, helps in soothing and calming your skin.

Visual Two Phase: When you shake the product, it becomes like an essential serum creating oil film which holds moisture in you skin.

There is an oil film that needs to be mixed into this mist, so make sure you SHAKE THE BOTTLE before using.

Size: 60 mL / 2.02 oz.

Color: the mist itself is colorless, but the oil film is green. Once mixed, the mist becomes kind of light green.

Fragrance: there is a really light scent, almost not detectable to me (but it could just be because of my stuffy nose...). Keep Cool calls it "innocence" with a soothing and calming herbal scent.

Sensation: there's a cooling/refreshing feel on your skin whenever you mist your face.

I sprayed this mist onto a tissue and as you can see, it is colorless.

How To Use: 

Shake it gently, close eyes and spray the mist at a distance of 20-30 cm from face.

When you use it before putting on makeup, it refines your skin texture and moisturizes your skin.

When you use it after putting on makeup, it perfectly mixes your makeup and presents radiance on your face.

How I Use It:

I have tried using it BOTH before and after makeup. I think I like using it AFTER makeup because it makes my skin look more radiant.

MAKE SURE YOU SHAKE THE BOTTLE BEFORE SPRAYING!!!

If using it before makeup, I would spray my face after I finished my skincare routine, usually after my last step which is sunscreen, then I would continue on with makeup.

If using it after makeup, I would spray my face after I finished my makeup routine, or whatever makeup I am putting on.

When you spray your face, don't hold the bottle too far away from your face because if you do, you will get less of the mist on your face and more of it in the air.

Left: I sprayed the mist onto my hand, it's colorless.

Right: After patting the mist into my hand, you can see there's a slight shine on my hand. The back of my hand is also moisturized. 

BELOW, I tested the mist out BEFORE and AFTER makeup.

Before putting makeup on

BEFORE

I only have on my skincare products and sunscreen.

AFTER

I sprayed my face twice with the mist. My skin feels moisturized, a little less dull and slightly more radiant. I kind of wonder how I would've looked if I had sprayed 2 more times, but I had stopped by then.

After putting makeup on

BEFORE

Here's how I look after putting on skincare, sunscreen, and makeup. I only put on light makeup, like some concealer. I mainly only have eye makeup on such as eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara.

AFTER

Here's how my face looks after 2 sprays of the mist. I definitely notice some shine to my face.

AFTER

Here's how my face looks after 2 MORE sprays of the mist, in other words, I have a total of 4 sprays on my face. It's crazy but I feel like my face looks more bright/radiant and my makeup definitely looks more "perfect" even though I know I don't have perfect skin.

Overall, I liked this mist a lot. Usually I don't use any kind of mist, but I have definitely changed my mind after using this mist. Now I like to use this mist whenever I go out, even when I don't use makeup, I just like to use it to give my face a more radiant look.

Like the Keep Cool Soothe Intensive Calming Mask (sheet mask), there's a cooling/refreshing sensation whenever you spray your face with this mist. I really like this feeling, especially when I'm feeling kind of hot or my skin is feeling kind of irritated. It's great for sensitive skin (which I have). 

It's not oily on the face at all! Even though there's a separated oil layer, as long as you shake it up, all should be fine. As someone with oily skin, I always try to stay away from things that cause me to get more oily and this mist definitely doesn't cause extra oil!

I know it mist seem like maybe the radiant look is just from the oil in the mist, but I don't think it is.

I like the smell of this mist, as I said earlier, the smell doesn't bother me at all and I actually consider it light. Light scented enough that it doesn't bother me at all.

I really like this mist and I would recommend everyone to try it! I notice a difference in how my face/makeup looks after I spray myself with it.
