Review Once Upon A Tea Green Tea MATCHA Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser

Hi Everyone!

Today, I will be reviewing the Once Upon A Tea Green Tea Matcha Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser.
I bough this from Amazon when there was a lightning deal going on. It's an Amazon's Choice product with a 4.8/5 star review.

Since I have oily skin, I like to do a daily gentle exfoliation for my face every night when I'm showering. I always have a facial cleanser in the shower with me. I just find that it's easier for me to wash my face at night in the shower and just rinse off in there as well. This exfoliating cleanser is a perfect cleanser for me to use at night as my daily exfoliation.

It's also really affordable and won't break the bank!

This gentle daily detox gets your skin spa-fresh in one time-saving step for a refreshing feel. It sloughs-off dead skin cells to reveal fresh, radiant skin beneath - without disturbing you skin's natural moisture balance. Ideal for all skin types.
This green tea matcha scrub is unique because it exfoliates and cleanses your face while reducing fine lines, minimizing pores, and removing blackheads to reveal a softer, healthier complexion.

How I Use It:
I use it every night in the shower as my facial cleanser. I take about a quarter-size coin amount and dot my face AND neck with the cleanser. Then, I gently massage the cleanser all over my face, allowing the beads to gently exfoliate my skin. When I feel that I am clean enough, I rinse my skin off with warm water.

🌟Below, I am testing this cleanser out to see how well it removes makeup. I know some people like to do the double cleansing method, so this would be the "2nd step." However, I also know that some people might just use this as a regular cleanser, so I will express my thought at the end.🌟

1. Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara
2. Maybelline Fit Me Concealer - Medium
3. Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner
4. Ciate London Starstruck Double-Ended Stamp Liquid Eyeliner

BEFORE
This is what the cleanser looks like up-close. It has a metallic-y light pastel green look to it. You can barely see the tiny little bumps in the cleanser, those are the beads within it.

DURING
I have spread the cleanser over the makeup, but I haven't started massaging it in yet.

DURING
This is the beginning stages of massaging the cleanser onto the makeup. You can barely see the tiny beads from the cleanser. In the beginning, you can see that the cleanser isn't really making much of a difference with the makeup. Also, there isn't much foaming going on.

DURING
I added some water to the cleanser to work it around better. The water helped with the process of removing the makeup. Again, there isn't much foaming.

AFTER
After rinsing off all the cleanser, all the makeup is gone!

Overall, this was a good exfoliating cleanser.
I like that it gently massaged my skin everyday without damaging my skin with tears or scratches. It's also not harmful and is great for people with sensitive skin.
My skin always feels super soft and clean after using this cleanser. I especially like to concentrate my rubbing at problematic areas, such as my nose where I have blackheads or anywhere that I have acne. It has the ability to take off makeup which is amazing!

As I stated in the beginning of this review, I have oily skin, so I find that I need to do a daily exfoliation for my skin to get rid of any impurities that accumulated into my pores and my face. I'm a huge fan of the Skinfood black sugar foam cleanser, which is what I usually use, but I wanted to try this cleanser out since it was on sale. I think it's totally worth trying and I definitely see a difference in my skin from using it.

I think they should take the "Foaming" out of the name... There really isn't much foaming going on with this cleanser.

I don't have any issue with the fragrance of this cleanser. It's really mild and goes away, not lingering on my skin.

Rate (out of 5 stars): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is a great exfoliating cleanser and I would definitely buy it again to use. I also like that it is really affordable and doesn't even cost $15, especially if there's a sale making it even cheaper!
