Review: isoi Bulgarian Rose Intensive Lifting Serum

I know we're in uncertain times, but I feel like I want to still have some feel of normality, so I will continue with my weekly beauty reviews.

Today, I will be reviewing a serum that I bought at a discounted price of  $3.99 from 08Liter.com as part of their TRY NOW campaign. By getting the chance to pay this discounted price, I agreed to give my honest review of this product.

I got this product a while back, and I did an initial review for 08Liter on their website. However, now, I've finished the whole bottle and I feel like I can really give a conclusive review of the product.

This serum is from the Korean skincare brand "isoi" and is part of their Bulgarian Rose line. I don't know much about this brand and I feel like they aren't really well known in the western world of skincare. However, anything with rose in it is immediately something that I'm extremely interested in.

How To Use:

After applying toner to skin, gently massage 2-3 pumps onto face and neck area.

How I Use It:

I use this serum both morning and night after I've applied my toner and essence. I like to only pump a little at a time to dot my face and neck with the serum. Once I've dotted my face and neck with the serum, I gently massage the serum all over with my fingertips. Once fully absorbed, I continue on with the rest of my skincare routine.

My skin feel moisturized, smoother, and looks brighter.

After applying the serum, my skin feels smoother and looks brighter. It has that healthy glow to it, like it's sucking in all the nutrients from the serum. You can see my skin is also a lot more moisturized after using this serum.

Once again, my skin looks brighter after using the serum. You can tell the skin around my pore area looks smoother. My skin just feel like it's elastic around massaging the serum in. 

Overall, I really like this serum! I'm absolutely in LOVE with the smell of it! The Bulgarian Rose is just to die for. I would totally bottle up this smell and use it as a perfume everyday if I could. I do realize some people might not like the smell of roses or any kind of fragrance in their skincare products, but you can at least know that this rose smell is due to real ingredients, not artificial.

It's hard to tell whether or not there were major change in lifting and anti-aging of my skin from this serum, but I did notice other effects from using this serum. It definitely moisturized my skin really well, helping to smooth my skin texture and make my skin look brighter with a healthy glow. It provides great nutrients to my skin, increasing the elasticity of my skin, providing that slight plump feel.

The texture of the serum is nice and absorbs quickly into my skin. Since I have oily skin, I have to make sure whatever I use doesn't make me feel any oilier. I'm happy to announce that this serum is great for ALL skin types, even oily skin types, in that it doesn't cause my to become oilier, it's moisturizing, and it doesn't cause breakouts (well it didn't cause me to breakout).

I think the only bad thing about this serum is the high price. It is a costly serum, one that I typically wouldn't pay full price for, however, since I got it at a discounted price, it was worth it. If you don't mind the price, then everything about this serum is great!

I really do like this serum. I like the brightening effect it has on my cheeks, while also giving back nutrients and elasticity to my skin. I LOVE THE SMELL of this serum!!!!!!!! I would definitely recommend this serum for anyone to try, but only if the high price tag doesn't bother you.
