Review: MISSHA MISA Yehyun Jinbon Eye Cream

Hi Everyone!

I hope everyone is doing well during this unprecedented time.

Today, I will be reviewing a Missha eye cream that I was super excited to try. I had previously tried and review a very popular Missha eye cream, the Missha Misa Geum Sul Vitalizing Eye Cream, which I really loved. Since I had such an amazing experience using that eye cream (I even re-purchased it and I'm currently using it again), when I saw this eye cream I wanted to test it out.

I bought this Missha eye cream from Yesstyle.com. It just happened to be on sale when I bought it online, so I thought, "why not?" and I quickly got two. One for myself and the other one was for my sister who also wanted to give it a try.

Made with black pine, pine mushroom and Oriental herb extracts, this eye cream helps deliver moisture and restore firmness and elasticity to the eye area to diminish fine lines and wrinkles, while stimulating circulation, collagen synthesis and cell renewal.

This eye cream it all about providing moisture to the delicate skin around your eyes while also providing anti-aging properties of diminish fine lines and wrinkles. It sounds really similar to the Missha Misa Geum Sul Vitalizing eye cream, but it's still distinctly different when you're actually using it. Also, there are NO GOLD bits in this cream.

Look how BEAUTIFUL this packaging is! The cap and the shape of this eye cream tub is so delicate, cute, and beautiful. I love that essentially all of Missha's eye creams have some sort of beautiful packaging element to it. Thank goodness you don't pay extra of this gorgeous packaging (at least since I bought mine on sale it wasn't that expensive, so it didn't seem like I was paying extra for the gorgeous tub).

This eye cream had an inner plastic lid. Just another way to keep the eye cream fresh and preserved.
I just want to illustrate the thickness and the look of the eye cream when I took off the plastic inner lid.
Again, I'm just trying to illustrate the thick, cream nature of this eye cream.
Here's a close-up of the eye cream on my ring finger. It's a creamy, thick white-ish color.

Size: 30 mL

Color: The cream has a pale tan/cream-white color.

Fragrance: Honestly, I don't really notice a scent when I use this eye cream, but I've seen other reviews that say they love the smell. If I can't smell anything, then it must be a really light smell, so not overpowering at all.

Texture: Much thicker texture than the other Missha eye cream. It's a thick, creamy consistency that glides easily onto the skin. When using this eye cream because of the texture, a little goes a long way, making this eye cream last a long time in the mileage of usage.

Absorbance: Absorbs quickly into the skin, not leaving behind any kind of oily or greasy residue. Leaves behind soft feeling skin.

Packaging: Comes it a BEAUTIFUL light purple tub. The cap has this intricate design on top that is similar to the other Missha eye cream, just a different color. Actually, the packaging is exactly the same as the Missha Misa Geum Sul Eye Cream, the only difference is the color. The other eye cream tub is gold and reflective while this one is a light purple color.

Accessories: Gives a small plastic spatula.

How To Use:
Apply around the eye area. Use fourth finger to lightly tap cream into eye area.

How I Use It:
I use this eye cream both morning and night at the end of my skincare routine. I like to get a little on my ring fingertip and dot the area under my eyes with the cream, then I gently tap the eye cream around the entire area of my eyes (EVEN THE EYELIDS!!!). If I have any excess eye cream on my fingertips than I gently tap it around the smile lines by my mouth.

I started using this eye cream on AUGUST 3, 2019 and finished it on JANUARY 9, 2020. Below are the Before/After pictures of when I started using this eye cream, all the way to the end when I finished.
This was the first night I started using this eye cream. The BEFORE pictures are what my eyes look like before ever using this cream. The AFTER was right after my first use of the eye cream. I noticed the dark circles under my eyes look lighter. If you look at the FIRST SET of BEFORE/AFTER pictures, you can see the dark circle under my left eye looks lighter, same could be said about the dark circle in the third set of BEFORE/AFTER pictures.
The eye cream is really moisturizing/hydrating. The skin around my eyes doesn't feel stretched out, it also feels softer and looks brighter. The cream absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn't leave any kind of oily/greasy residue.
Great news, it didn't cause any eyes to my sensitive eyes. It also didn't cause me to get any milia (thank goodness!).
Here's how I would dot the eye cream under my eyes. I don't typically use so much each time like shown in the picture. I actually grabbed too much of the eye cream the first time I was using it cause I didn't realize a little bit went a long way.
After 5 months of using this eye cream, I would say I don't notice any changes in any fine lines or wrinkles. The crinkles/crows feet at the corner of my eyes are still very much present. It hasn't caused my to have more milia which I really do appreciate. I also think it's great that it softens and brightens the skin around my eyes while also helping to lighten the dark circles under my eyes.

Overall, I really enjoyed using this eye cream!

As I said previously, after using this eye cream for 5 months, I didn't notice any anti-aging effects, no reduction in fine lines and wrinkles. It is really moisturizing and helps to lighten the dark circles under my eyes. Also, I noticed the skin around my eyes feels softer and looks brighter whenever I've applied this eye cream.

It has a thick, creamy texture, making it last a long time since a little goes a long way. You honestly do not need to grab much of this eye cream to spread all around your eyes. I really like that it glides easily on my skin and absorbs quickly. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave me feeling oily or have a heavy feel on my eye area.
Since it is a thicker formula, I wasn't great surprised when it didn't cause me to produce milia under my eyes. It may be a thick cream, but it feels light on the skin. Milia is something I struggle with and get really worried about whenever I'm trying a new eye cream. It's a breath of fresh air when I don't have to worry about using an eye cream that could potentially cause me to breakout or get milia.

This is a great eye cream that anyone can use, anyone with any kind of skin type! It's also really affordable on places like Yesstyle.com

Rate (out of 5 stars): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I really liked this eye cream and I would definitely buy it again! I highly recommend giving this eye cream a try! It's great for all skin types and it's really affordable! I would recommend buying it from Yesstyle.com because the price just happens to be cheaper there, and it tend to be on sale more often there.
