Review: Boscia Matcha Magic Super-Antioxidant Mask

Hi Everyone!

Today, I will be reviewing a face mask that I really enjoy!

A few months ago, I was walking around Marshall's, looking through their skincare aisle, when I saw this Matcha face mask from boscia. I've always wanted to try their skincare products, but I just couldn't afford to pay the full price. So when I saw this mask at Marshall's, and it's price is reduced from the typical prices from places like Sephora, I was super excited and bought it right away.

I literally opened it and tried it the night I bought it! That's how excited I was to try it out!!!

Side note ~ I'm a big fan of Matcha and anything Green Tea in general! It's super healthy for you and it's a great source of antioxidant!

I wanted to show the writing that had at the back of the tub. It's really wide, so I tried to so from all angles.
Look how cute the mask looks when you open the tub! I love that little dollop look. It looks like the mask would be hard or even pudding-like.
Here's a close-up of the mask when I'm grabbing some with my finger. It's actually really creamy, thick, and smooth. Glides on super easily.

Size: 77 mL / 2.6 oz.

Color: Matcha Green Tea color (green)

Fragrance: Smells like the powdered form of Matcha green tea. I really like the smell of this face mask!

Texture: It has a really smooth, creamy, and thick texture. Glides onto skin smoothly and spread really easily.

Packaging: Comes in a plastic, clear tub with a plastic lid. I'm not the biggest fan of the packaging because it made me nervous about how tight the seal is. I was afraid it would cause the mask to dry out faster.

Accessories: Comes with a plastic spatula.

Free From: Preservatives, Artificial Fragrance, and Artificial Color.

How To Use
Using spatula provide or fingers, apply onto face to distribute opaque green layer all over or on targeted areas as needed. Leave on for 10-15 minutes then rinse clean with warm water. Rinse spatula after each use.

How I Use It:
I use this face mask at night after I finished showering, twice a week. I spread it all over my face, usually just using my finger instead of the spatula, and letting the mask sit on my face for 10-15 minutes. Once the mask has dried, I wash it off with warm water.

Below are pictures of me trying the face mask

Here's how my skin looked Before I used the mask. I had just finished taking a shower. My skin is clean and you can see I have acne and bumps and multiple places. I also have redness in certain areas.
I'm spreading the mask around my face.
I have just finished spreading the mask all over my face. It glides on smoothly and spreads super easily. It's really creamy. There's a cooling sensation/tingling when the mask is on your skin, like it's refreshing/relaxing your skin all at once.
This is how the mask looks on my face after 15 minutes. It becomes really tight, I can't even smile really well. You can see from the close-up of my cheek, just how tight the mask is.
Here's how my skin looks After I washed off the mask. My skin and pores feel and look clean. The redness on my skin has been reduced and my skin has a sort of brightnes/less-dullness to it. My skin doesn't feel dry at all, but there is a slight (very slight) tight feeling.
This is a close-up of my other cheek. Again, my skin and pores look and feel clean. It help calm my skin and doesn't make my skin feel dry.
I just wanted to show a close-up of my nose. My pores feel and look cleaner.
Here's a close-up of my forehead. I feel like the acne on my forehead has definitely been reduced in inflammation and in redness. My skin looks brighter and less dull.

Overall, I really enjoyed using this face mask! I completely understand why it's so popular!

I love that it helps calm my skin down, reducing the inflammation and redness. I like that it really helped to deflate any acne I had. There's definitely a soothing, calming, relaxing sensation when you have this mask on. I felt like I felt a cooling/tingling sensation, nothing bad!

I also really enjoyed the smell of the mask. The Matcha green tea smell is great and it's not overpowering in any way.

The texture of this mask is great. I honestly thought it was gonna be harder for some reason, but surprisingly, it's really smooth and creamy. It glides onto my skin really well and spreads all over. Since it's so easy to spread, there isn't a need to grab a lot of mask to cover all the surfaces.

When the mask dried on my skin, it definitely felt really tight. I felt like I couldn't even open my mouth or smile. However, once you wash it off, it's all good. My skin didn't feel dry at all and yes, there was a minor tightness, but it wasn't anything bad.

My skin felt smoother, softer, and looked brighter after using this Matcha green tea mask. My skin was just more awake!

This is a great face mask that would be good for all skin types, especially anyone with acne-prone skin.

Rate (out of 5 stars): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
