Review: Ample:n VC Shot Ampoule

Hi Everyone!

Today, I will be reviewing a ampoule that I've had with me or a while now, but it took me a while to actually take it out to use. I first got this ampoule from 08Liter.com, initially it was for their TRY NOW campaign where you pay a discounted price of $3.99 and in return you provide your honest review. I had done that already early on last year in December. However, once I used the ampoule for about 2 weeks to write my review, I stopped using it to finish off the other serum I had been using at the time and waited to use this ampoule later on.
I went back to finish using this ampoule in September 2019 and used it everyday, twice a day, until I had finished it. (I also split this ampoule in half with my sister so that  she could use it as well.)

The purpose of this ampoule is to brighten your skin and make you look more radiant. This is always good in my opinion. I am always looking for ways to brighten my skin.
A highly concentrated vitamin C is delivered to the skin for transparent and radiant and causes immediate even-toned complexion.

This ampoule uses a "Micro Derma-Shot Technology," developed by Research Institute of Technology Song-pa, which allows penetration of active ingredients into the deep layers of the skin without injections.

Brightening Function: Ingredient helps to become a brighter skin.

Since it is does contain visible vitamin C crystals, the encapsulated vitamin derivatives in crystals form help to strengthen the moisture barrier, creating a more radiant, healthy look. The vitamin C crystals are wrapped in an oil film and will react to your skin's temperature, causing it to pop out. Its watery texture easily dissolves into the skin and delivers vitamin C active ingredients deep into the skin.

It comes in a glass bottle with a glass stopper-plunger.

Here's a closeup of the ampoule. It is NOT clear, it's more opaque and is riddled with small white specks, which are the vitamin C crystals. It's almost kind of milky looking. It has a thickness to it, like a bit of a body to it. Once applied, but becomes watery-like, applying easily and well.

Size: 30 mL

Color: Opaque with white vitamin C crystals

Texture: It's has some thick body to it, but will become sort of watery when rubbed into skin, allowing it to be absorb quickly and deeply into your skin.

Fragrance: There's a strong sweet citrus smell, almost reminds me of cleaning products, nut not as artificial smelling.

Absorbency: Absorbs quickly into the smell and doesn't leave a sticky or oily feel afterwards.

Effect: Rejuvenation

How To Use:
After the tone, apply a small amount of the ampoule to the face and decollete area with light tapping movements until completely absorbed.

How I Use It:
I used this ampoule both morning and night after I had applied my toner and essence. I like to dot my face with the ampoule and then lightly massage it into my skin. Once fully absorbed, I continue with the rest of my skincare routine.

Below, I have a series of photos showing daily pictures of my using this ampoule and the results. I took photos of my face and then did closeups of y cheeks and forehead. These pictures were taken from BEFORE I started using all the way to the last day I used the ampoule, which is also the day I finished the bottle of ampoule.
Overall, in the pictures of my face, it slowly becomes brighter and the hyperpigmentation from older acne is also slowly fading.

Overall, the skin on my forehead became a little less bumpy and the hyperpigmentation and acne that I had slowly healed and faded.

You can see the acne on my cheeks slowly healing. The redness goes down and the hyperpigmentation is also slowly going away. There is a brightness to my skin as well.

Overall, I really liked this ampoule!

Honestly, the vitamin C crystals looks like gross white precipitates, like some chemistry/o-chem reaction gone wrong. However, the mechanism and the science from these crystals is amazing and I really like the concept of what Coreana were trying to do with this ampoule. I think it's pretty unique and there aren't other ampoules like it, making it truly one of a kind.

I do notice that my skin looks more radiant and bright after using this ampoule. There is a difference in my acne and hyperpigmentation, it is evident that it helps the healing process.

The smell of this ampoule is strong, so BEWARE for anyone who is sensitive to fragrance or don't like fragrances in general. It has a strong artificial citrus smell. I liked it in the beginning, but I slowly started to just be indifferent to it and wasn't a major fan later on, but it was a deal breaker.

A little goes a long way with this ampoule, allowing this ampoule to last longer.

Rate (out of 5 stars): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I really liked this ampoule! It's really effective and I like that it doesn't irritate my skin and is really gentle. I do see a difference and I think it's worth buying. It's really inexpensive as well, so definitely worth trying out!
