Review: goodal Green Tangerine Vita C Serum Sheet Mask

Today I will be reviewing a new sheet mask that I received from Olive Young for free in return for my honest review. This is NOT sponsored.

I've actually heard of the bran goodal before, but this is the first time I've ever tried anything from them. I know they're pretty well know for a peeling gel that I've eyed in the past but never bought.

This is a sheet mask that is soaked in the goodal green tangerine vita C dark spot serum, AKA a vitamin C serum. It is said to have the benefits of an entire bottle of the Dark Spot Serum for fast-acting intensive blemish control.

The sheet mask is see-through and not thick at all. It's material is really soft.

Size: 30 mL

Fragrance: There is a smell to this mask, it has a sort of sour artificial citrus smell to it. It's not something I would gravitate towards, but it's not horrible.

Color: The serum is clear, light yellow colored and the sheet mask is white.

Texture: The serum is runny and adheres to the skin well, not just slipping off. The sheet mask is really soft and not irritating.

Absorbance: The serum absorbs into the skin quickly.

Packaging: The sheet mask comes in a pouch that is filled with the Dark Spot Serum.

How To Use:

1. After cleansing the face, use a toner to soothe the skin texture
2. Open the pouch, remove the film from the sheet, and apply the mask evenly over your face
3. After 10-20 minutes, remove the mask and gently pat the remaining essence/serum into the skin to aid absorption

How I Use It:

I used this sheet mask at night at the end of my skincare routine after I had finished everything. I left it on for a good 20 minutes because I wanted my skin to be able to have awhile to soak in the serum to see more results.

Once I took off the sheet mask, I took the excess serum from the pouch and layered it all over my face, creating a sort of barrier of serum on my face to be absorbed overnight (honestly, it was fully absorbed within 10 minutes).

(I know the chin/nose picture isn't the most appealing, but I wanted to see if the sheet mask would help with the acne scars in this area)

I didn't like that the holes for the eyes and mouth didn't work for me, especially the mouth hole. I kept on having to push up the mouth area of the sheet mask so that it wouldn't go into my mouth. The eye holes were borderline along my lash line which was really irritating for my eyes.

After having the sheet mask on for 20 minutes, my skin looks brighter and plumper. It definitely feels plumper too! My skin also feel moisturized.

I don't see a major difference on my acne scars after taking off the sheet mask.

I don't notice a difference in some of the dark/brown-ish fading scars that I have on my cheeks. I see that my skin is brighter and my cheeks feel and look plumper. My skin is also feeling moisturized.

Overall, I really liked this sheet mask!

It is definitely something that I would buy myself and share with others too.

I love that my skin is brighter and plumper. It feels moisturized and just has the healthy feel and look to it. 

I don't see a difference in my dark spots after having left the sheet mask on for 20 minutes. Maybe if I used the real Dark Spot Serum it might actually be able to help with the dark spots after continued use, but I don't see that happening with a short-term sheet mask like this.

The sheet itself is really soft and non-irritating. It's the eye and mouth holes that I have more of a problem with. It's not a major issue, just a nit-picky thing. I hate that the holes don't fit well for me. t's really annoying, but this tend to happen with any sheet mask I ever use.
