Review: MEDIHEAL Thispatch Collagenta For Visage Up

Today, I have another review for you, this is also another product I received for free from Olive Young in return for my own honest review.

MEDIHEAL is a really popular Korean skincare brand that is know for their sheet masks. I've never personally tried any of their sheet mask before until I received this one from Olive Young. However, I have heard amazing things about the MEDIHEAL sheet masks, so I was super excited to try this out.

I will admit, the first time I opened my package and saw this sheet mask, I literally scuffed. I couldn't believe that there was such thing as a sheet mask like this to kind of help product that v-shaped form while also supposedly helping to lifting sagging skin along the jawline. Honestly, you would probably never really see this in western beauty products.

Also, I'm only 23, so I don't really have any major sagging skin around my jawline or  face line. I do still have natural baby fat on my face (which is why you can still see my dimples), and I also already have a pretty natural v-shape-ish jawline.

This is a DOUBLE lifting-up mask-type with two loops extending toward BOTH ears. It stretches to both sides of the face to lift up the jawline from the bottom to the top, giving a gentle pressure to the skin while providing an intensive tightening treatment.

Here's how the patch looks. You can see the holes that hook onto your ears. There's also a slit for your mouth.

Size: 28 mL

Color: The gel the patch is soaked in is clear and colorless. The patch itself is white.

Fragrance: There is a light scent to this patch. It reminds me of chamomile and eucalyptus (which is one of the ingredients). I find the scent to be soothing and I really like it.

Texture: The gel was light and thick-ish, just what you would think a typical gel would feel like. The patch was thick and made of soft material.

Material: I don't know the exact material they used to make the patch, but it was soft and non-irritating. There was sort of a stretchy-ness to it, but I wouldn't say there was a lot of give to it.

Absorbance: The gels absorbs into the skin within 15-20 minutes. I could actually feel the gel drying and absorbing on my skin as I had the patch on.

How To Use:

1. The patch stretches evenly from the center to both sides of the face and hangs onto the ears. Adjust it to fit well.
2. The individual time for application may vary depending on your skin type and condition.
3. Individual results and satisfaction may vary.
4. For best results, use twice or thrice a week for four consecutive weeks and continuously apply only a day for a slimmed face line.

How I Use It:

I used this patch at night, at the end of my skincare routine when I had finished applying everything else. Once I applied the patch on, I left it on for 30 minutes. When I felt like the patch was dried out, I ended up just taking it off and I patted any excess gel from the pouch onto my face.

BEFORE

Like I said before, I'm only 23, so I don't really have any sagging skin along my jawline. I also already sort of have a V-ness along my chin-jaw area.

I like that my mouth actually fit in the hole! This is literally a first for me! The material of the patch is thick and soft. I wouldn't say it's that stretchy.

I HATED the holes that needed to be hooked onto my ear. As you can see, it almost looks painful, but the patch just KEPT ON SLIPPING OFF MY EARS! It was super annoying. No matter how many time I kept hooking them back on, it kept coming off. When it finally started to stay put, it was crumpled oddly at my ears.

AFTER

I honestly do NOT see a single difference whatsoever. I also didn't feel a difference. It's one thing if you don't see a difference, but you can feel it. But it's a whole other thing is you can't see or feel anything.

Overall, I didn't like this patch at all! I wouldn't EVER buy it and I wouldn't EVER recommend it for anyone.

It's super annoying to put on and keep on. There really isn't much lifting going on. My skin didn't feel tighter from the gel, which is suppose to help tighten the skin. The shape of my face is still the same even though I wore this patch for 30 minutes.

I think the only things I like about the patch were the smell of the gel and that the patch material was soft and didn't irritate my skin.

I hate this patch and I feel like anyone who tries it will feel just as uncomfortable as I did when using it. I'm NOT recommending it. There are definitely OTHER skincare products out in the market that can help with sagging skin along the jawline.
