Review: BY ECOM Pure Calming Cica Cream

I would like to say early on, I LOVE THIS CREAM. 💓💓💓

Part 5: BY ECOM Pure Calming Cica Cream

Description:

1. Contains centella asiatica extract instead of purified water. It's more effective for calming the skin by using centella asiatica extract, substituting purified water, which is known as a plant ingredient wound treatment agent, as a raw material for 'Madecassol' ointment for wounds.
2. Centella asiatica extract as well as Madcassoside. Madecassoside, which are abundant in precious Centella asiatica, leaves and stems, helps soothe skin that is sensitive to external conditions or stresses.
3. Panthenol, skin vitamin. As it's absorbed into the skin, it changes to vitamin B5, which combines well with moisture, and it's also used as a supplement to prevent skin itchiness and inflammation.
4. Long-lasting moisturizing capsule mask effect.  When rolling the skin, the moisture capsules filled in the cream softly burst to form a perfect moisturizing layer and prevent moisture evaporation on the skin surface.
5. Skin soothing of EWG Green Grade Botanical Ingredients. The EWG Green Grade botanical ingredients 'Camomile/Portulaca oleracea/Neem' etc. protect and help soothe skin from the external stimuli.
6. Restore skin condition with balanced skin. By correcting the imbalance of the oil and moisture balance of skin in the final stage of the basic skin care, it helps essential care of all types of skin to improve skin healthier.

Skin Soothing + Water Filling + Skin Protection

Contains a combination of 3 growth factors: EGF + IGF+ FGF

• EGF - Epidermal Growth Factor: an epithelial growth factor which is renowned for cell regeneration and widely being used for acne products. Promotes the production of skin cells and helps to maintain a healthy and energetic skin by improving complex skin troubles.
• IGF-1 - Insuline-like Growth Factor-1: Insuline-like growth factor, known as the effect of cell growth and fibroblast proliferation through the cooperation with EGF.
• FGF - Fibroblast Growth Factor: Fibroblast growth factor that has function of promoting cell division and regeneration, and promotes fibroblast intracellular collagen and elastin synthesis.

This is how I found out there were little beads inside the cream. I turned over the tub and was super surprised by what I saw. At first I thought there were like bug eggs inside and freaked out.

You can see little beads riddled throughout the cream. It's a light blue color of the moisture capsule/beads NOT from artificial coloring. It's a component obtained from chamomile, and is more effective in calming effect with color representation.

The cream is really silky and smooth. It has a slight light blue opaque look. It's a gel cream.

Here's a close-up of the little beads. They are clear and really small. Easily dissolve into the skin and doesn't leave any residual capsule residue. The beads pop when rolled around, adding to the moisturizing effect. The beads are smooth and non-irritating, and quickly absorb into the skin when rubbed.

Size: 50 mL

Color: Pale, light blue, opaque gel cream and light blue moisturizing beads/capsules.

Texture: Gel cream, very silky and smooth.

Fragrance: Fragrance-free, there's absolutely no scent whatsoever, which is great for anyone who is sensitive to fragrance or want to use skincare that doesn't have any added fragrances.

Packaging: A very nice glass tub.

Accessories: None, I was expecting at least a spatula for the cream, but there wasn't any.

How To Use: 

Take an appropriate amount twice a day in the morning and evening and spread it evenly over the skin.

How I Use It:

I use this cream both morning and night as the last step in my skincare routine. I like to dab it on 4 areas on my face: forehead, both cheeks, and my chin, then I gently massage it into my face. The little beads are easily broken up and absorb quickly into the skin (doesn't leave at residual capsule or anything).

Below, I have comparison pictures of me using this cream for the past 4 weeks.

This is the first day that I started using the cream.

After application, I noticed that it's really moisturizing and soothing. The redness is reduced, but keep in mind I was using the other BY ECOM products and those also helped to reduce redness.

You can see that from the close-up of my cheek, my skin is noticeably more moisturized. The redness on my cheeks have also gone down.

1 WEEK LATER

1 Week after using this cream, I noticed that the problem areas on my face are healing really fast. My redness is reduced and feels really soothed and calmed down.

My skin feels really moisturized and there's reduced redness.

Compared to last week, there's a major difference in my skin!

3 WEEKS LATER

I had STOPPED using this cream after the first week of use and switched to another cream that I needed to test. However, during this week in between that I wasn't using this cream, my skin broke out like crazy (I was using the Borntree Gold Milk Steam Cream that I reviewed a few weeks back). Below are pictures of me AFTER I stopped using the other cream and started using this cream again for another week. This is the end of the week that I came back to this cream. The way my skin did look originally after stopping using the other cream is in my previous blog post (I have linked it above and I'll also do it again below).

After using this cream for a week after stopping the other cream, there was a WORLD of difference. It's amazing how much can change in just 1 week.

I forgot to take an AFTER picture of this cheek so I'm sorry there isn't a comparison. HOWEVER, if you compare this to a WEEK BEFORE (pictures above) you can see just how much my cheek has HEALED. There's a MAJOR difference.

My skin is moisturized and there's a slight shine to is, but it's not oily at all. The cream absorbs in really quickly.

There's a reduce in redness on my forehead.

The overall skin of my face has gotten all lot better.

My cheek has healed a lot and is almost all the way cleared up. The redness has been reduced down a lot.

Again, if you compared it to the week before (from pictures above), there's a major difference on how my skin looks. The little bumps are basically all gone. My redness is basically all gone as well. 

 Overall, this face cream is AMAZING.

It's moisturizing, redness reducing, soothing, calming, and skin healing qualities.

I seriously LOVE this cream. It is so obvious the healing abilities of this cream! I literally started to notice differences and healing within 2-3 days after I started using it.

Out of ALL of the BY ECOM products I tried, this one is my #1 FAVORITE.
Like I mentioned earlier, this cream is literally the reason my skin was healing and getting better. When I was using the Borntree cream, I was still using all of the rest of the BY ECOM product except for this cream, which I switched. I broke out a lot with that other cream, then I came back to this cream and my skin started to heal again! I think it's obvious that the reason is because of this cream.

I love the lightweight feel of this cream on my skin, it's not oily at all. The gel cream is amazing for someone like me who has oily skin, however, I definitely believe this would be a great cream for all skin types!
It's fragrance free, which I know is important to some people.

This cream is $39, which I feel is expensive, but I would literally pay this price for this cream even though I think it's expensive. That's how much I love this cream! I would be willing to pay a lot of money for a cream like this, well not a lot of money, but I would be willing to pay for this price.
