Review: Keep Cool Soothe Phyto Greenpair Cream

Hi Everyone!

This is the final part to the Keep Cool Soothe line!
Once more, I received this product for free from Stylekorean in return for my own honest review.
I received this cream in a set, which contained 3 other Keep Cool Soothe skincare products (all of which I have already reviewed so please go check it out!).

Part 4: Keep Cool Soothe Phyto Greenpair Cream
This is a green repair cream for skin that is sensitive and damaged by external environmentally causes. It contains Keep Cool's own skin calming complex, centella asiatica extract and panthenol.

With Phyto Green Pair Complex featuring Chamaecyparis Obtusa Leaf Extract, Thuja Orientalis Extract, Pinus Densiflora Extract, and Bamboo Extract, it immediately cools skin and reduces redness and inflammation. Contains no artificial pigment or fragrance.

Size: 50 mL

Color: light, pale green

Fragrance: I don't seem to smell anything from this cream, so I would say this is a fragrance-free cream.

Texture: it feels thick and creamy when you first squeeze it out of the tube, but once you rub it onto your face, it becomes almost like a water-y, gel-like cream. It's amazing the change in texture. It glides on really smoothly. NOT OILY AT ALL.

Full Ingredients List: Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol , Phenyl Trimethicone, 1,2-Hexanediol, Hydrogenated Polydecene, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ethylhexyl Olivate, Shea Butter, Melia Azadirachta Leaf Extract, Melia Azadirachta Flower Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Asiaticoside, Asiatic Acid, Madecassic Acid, Lonicera Japonica (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Forsythia Suspensa Fruit Extract, Chamaecyparis Obtusa Leaf Extract, Thuja Orientalis Extract, Pinus Densiflora Extract, Bambusa Vulgaris Extract, Panthenol, Polyglyceryl-4 Oleate, Sorbitan Stearate , Cetyl Ethylhexanoate , Cetearyl Glucoside, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Tromethamine, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Sodium Acrylates Copolymer, Disodium EDTA

This is what the cap of the cream looks like. You're suppose to poke the aluminum covering inside the cream to allow the cream to come out from the hole you make. I accidentally forgot to do this and just ripped off the aluminum seal and was left with a sticky residue on the opening of where my cream comes out.

This is how the cream looks. It looks thick, like a mousse, but if you look at the little bit I have swiped on my hand, it glides on really nicely and smoothly! It is light pale green in color.

How To Use:
At the step to use skin care cream, spread the desired amount of the cream over your face and gently pat it to let it get absorbed.

How I Use It:
I used this cream both morning and night at the end of my skincare routine. I only use about a dime size of the cream, but even that is a bit much! A little goes a LONG way with this cream. I also like to rub it onto my neck as well.

Recommended for:
✅ Who is concerned about sensitive skin which become rough due to external stimulations
✅ Who is looking for mild skin care products
✅ Who is concerned about dull, cheerless skin which need to be highly moisturized and nourished

BELOW are pictures from my BEFORE/AFTER of using this cream. I also have a BEFORE/AFTER of me using this cream after 1 week.

BEFORE

AFTER
My skin feel moisturized and has a cooling feeling!

BEFORE

AFTER
You can see that this cream helped moisturize a dry area that I had on my forehead. It's really small, almost can't see it, but it's basically in the middle of my forehead where an old pimple was healing. I don't really know if it helped reduce any redness, I guess maybe a little bit.

BEFORE

AFTER
Again, my skin feel really moisturized. I do feel like there is a reduce in redness in my cheeks!

1 Week Later

BEFORE

DURING
You can see that the cream becomes really cream-y, almost gel-like and smooth. It goes on so well. You don't need a lot to cover an area.

AFTER
My skin feel moisturized and there is a reduce in redness in my cheek. There's also that amazing cooling feeling.
However.... some bad news below.

Overall, I thought this cream wasn't terrible, but it was amazing.

While I did notice a reduce in redness in my trouble areas and there was a lot of moisturization from this cream, I feel that it caused my to BREAK OUT.

From the before and after pictures from 1 week before and after, I feel that I have gotten more pimples on my cheek. I also feel like my forehead got more bumpy, but I forgot to take a picture of my forehead (sorry). While this cream is really light weight and NOT OILY at all, maybe it was clogging my pores? Which was what was causing me to get more break outs on my cheeks? I'm not 100% sure, but I was using this with my sister at the time and she agreed that this cream was also causing her to break out. Especially since she had clear skin before we started using this cream and then after we started using it and when we stopped, we both had more acne on our cheeks.

Like the rest of the Keep Cool Soothe line, this cream also has that intense cooling feeling on the skin once you rub it in. I like the feeling a lot, and as I've mentioned before, I would love to use it during the hot summer season where I would feel more cooled down. Since it's currently cold, when I use this, I just feel kind of cold and get goosebumps.

Rate (out of 5 stars): ⭐⭐⭐
While it is a nice cream, not oily, lightweight, helped reduce redness, provide moisture, and had a cooling effect, I do not appreciate that it caused me to break out.
Maybe my skin is just too sensitive for this cream? I'm not sure since this cream is suppose to be for people WITH sensitive skin.....
Either way, if you want to give it a chance to try you can, but I wouldn't repurchase it nor would I highly recommend it.
