Review: Heimish All Clean White Clay Foam

Hi Everyone!

Today, I will review a popular affordable face cleanser. I bought this cleanser sometime in 2018 (although I'm only reviewing it now...) because I was just running out of my face cleansers and wanted to try something new. I got it from iHerb.com because at the time they sent me an email saying there was some sort of discount for K-Beauty skincare products, and I ended up buying a bunch of cleansers and other skincare products at the time.
***Side Note: I find that this cleanser is cheapest from iHerb.com compared to other sites***

This deep cleansing foam wipes away all dirt and grime. Contains Amazon white clay (kaolin) to purify skin by drawing out the dirt and oils trapped in pores, coconut oil to hydrate and condition skin, 3 types of hyaluronic acid to enhance hydration and citrus herb oil infused with 10 types of natural oils to remove toxins.

Provides rich moisture and nutrition for bright and clear skin.

Amazon White Clay is known for its sebum absorption effects to remove all waste products from your pores in order to leave your skin feeling more refreshed. Also helps to remove dead skin cells and waste products from the skin.

Hydrolyzed silk and 3 types of hyaluronic acid to ensure your skin remains moisturized with no dryness or tight sensations even after cleansing.

Citrus Herb Oil: 10 types of natural oils have been incorporated to help remove toxins from the skin whilst cleansing and to provide a relaxing and calming effect.

Size: 150 g / 5.29 oz.

Color: White-grey paste-y color

Texture: Thick and creamy, glides easily onto the skin.

Fragrance: Has a clay/herbal/soil-ish smell. It's more overpowering but it's definitely there and I think some people might not like the smell

Foam: It creates a dense, thin foam, not like those really fluffy all-over-the-place foam you would typically think of.

Free From: parabens, sulfates, surfactants

How To Use:
Mix a small amount of the cleanser with water to work up a luxurious lather. Gently massage onto wet skin using circular motion. After thoroughly cleansing your face, rinse with cool water. Use morning and night.

How I Use It:
I used this cleansing foam as my morning face wash. I would wet my face and squeeze out about a nickel sized amount, then gently massage it all over my face. Once it's worked-up a nice enough lather/foam, I would rinse off my face with warm water.

Below, I'm testing how well this cleansing foam removes makeup

You can see the creamy-ness of this cleanser. It's a white-grey paste-y look.
You can see it creates a dense looking foam. It's not a fluffy foam by any means. You can usually still see the eyeliners underneath the foam.
After rinsing off with water, you can actually still see all the eyeliners. The only one that's truly gone is the mascara and I feel like that only happened because the mascara is NOT waterproof, so it just came off because of the water. The gel eyeliner didn't even budge. The pencil eyeliner is still lightly present while the liquid eyeliner is only slightly there. I would like to note that the liquid eyeliner is only slightly more removed because I was really rubbing at it to try to get it off.

Overall, this is definitely a gently and light FACE cleanser that is better suited in the mornings in my opinion. I find that it's adequate enough to wash my face to remove all the overnight skincare I had on my face, however it's not good enough as a night time face cleanser to fully remove the sunscreen, makeup, oils, and grime that accumulate throughout the day.

I find that this cleanser isn't good a remove any sort of makeup, so I feel like it isn't really good enough to remove anything on my face at night time. It may be able to remove most of the surface-level stuff, like the skincare on my face from the night before, but I don't feel like it's really a deep cleansing cleanser that it's advertised to be.

While I do think it is a gentle cleanser and I do think anyone with any skin type can use it, it's just not the best day AND night cleanser, just a morning cleanser.

However, the good news is, it doesn't dry my skin out and doesn't make my skin feel tight. It didn't cause me to break out and I really do like the texture of it. The smell is something that I think some people might not like, but it's really nothing to me and it doesn't bother me at all.

The absolute best thing about this cleanser is that is really AFFORDABLE! It's like $6-something on iHerb.com and around $9 on Stylekorean.com. It's definitely an affordable cleanser making it worth a try.

Rate (out of 5 stars): ⭐⭐⭐⭐
It's a relatively good face cleanser, but it doesn't do a good job at removing makeup. It's definitely really gentle, making it good for all skin types. This is a really affordable cleanser that is worth a try.
